We are flying into Sanford Airport, rather than Orlando international. Magical express won't pick up at Sanford, so I'm looking for some advice on options. I most likely will not rent a car - I'm happy with Disney transportation once on property. Thinking about getting a limo service. Any advice? Recommendations?? PATIA!

I don't think Mears goes to Sanford. You may need to rent a car one way and drop it off at Dolphin, an Alamo drop off point. There may be other rental Car agencies that have a WDW drop off point, but we have used Alamo only. Good Luck!

You may want to ask this question on the transportation board. I am sure the folks on that board will know what your options are.

We did a one way car rental and turned it in at the Dolphin. We were really happy with that option. We didn't actually do it, but we could have stopped for room snacks before turning in the car. :thumbsup2

I fly into Orlando and still don't use ME. I like using Tiffany Towncar and spending the $100 for the service. We are met a baggage claim, the driver gets and loads our luggage, does the grocery stop and unloads us at BCV ..We are picked up and dropped off on our schedule, and our choice not Mears or ME

We flew into Sanford a few years ago. We were staying offsite so we rented a car. It was so expensive for a towncar or shuttle. The car was under $100 for the week. Even if you don't use the car all week, it might be cheap enough to rent for the whole week.

Budget has really cheap one way rentals - go through costco and it is super reasonble.

We stay at Shades of Green, which isn't an official WDW resort (although it's located on WDW grounds, next to the Polynesian). So we're not eligible for Magical Express, either.

We have been very happy using the towncar service (we have used Florida Tours twice, and had good experiences both times). It's especially nice that they'll even stop at a grocery store for 30 minutes on the way to your resort! [Just have your list planned out in advance, because that 30 minutes goes by quickly!] We pick up bottled water, other beverages, snacks, breakfast foods, and even wine - it's great!
