Can anyone else relate to my lunacy?! :-)

I needed to be up earlier than usual this morning to take our minivan in for servicing. I asked my DH, who gets up at 4:30, to please reset the alarm for 6:30 once he woke up so I wouldn't accidentally oversleep. (Like my kids would actually allow that . . .) :-)

So, God bless him, at 4:30 his alarm goes off and he starts trying to reset it. But in the process he actually blasts it so loud it startled me. So as he gets ready for his day, I try to get back to sleep. And what, pray tell, creeps into my brain at that hour? You got it - Disney!!!

You might be thinking that perhaps I was doing some planning for our upcoming Easter week trip, yes? Actually, no. My insanity led me to start tossing around ideas for our 2011 trip!!! "Should we take the kids during Jersey Week in November?" "Wait, maybe we'll take a few friends along with us in early December for my 40th birthday and Drink Around the World." "Hmmm, but Christmas and New Year's are on weekends that year, we could take the kids that week and finally get to see all these amazing holiday decorations I hear so much about." And then I proceeded to consider all the different resorts we could stay at for all those options - and "If we took our friends, would we get a Grand Villa or a one bedroom for us and studios for them so they could have privacy."

Needless to say, after laying there for an hour and half, I finally got up, made myself some strong coffee, and have been trolling the boards for the past 45 minutes. :-)

But this is why I love The DIS - I know it's a place I can come to where everyone else is as nuts about Disney as I am. Thanks for always giving me something fun to read at all hours!!!

Now, where is my planner so I can go start looking at points for all those options I talked about . . . :-)

I like the idea of Christmas with the decorations and such. Go with that.:thumbsup2

I can relate! Disney on the brain most of the time especially when trip is aproaching!

 That's a nice Illness to have, but that's just mild lunacy.

My wife is at this moment trying to coordinate a group (around 15 people) stay for THIS November.

OMG.....you sound exactly like me.....and I've been contemplating very similar trips too, including November Jersey week. :rotfl:

I'm at the airport. Am I planning my cruise in detail? No, I'm on the Disboards, seeing how you all are doing!:lmao:

I can totally relate! I can pretty much turn anything into a discussion that is somehow related to Disney. I guess I just see the world through Disney colored glasses! :lmao: Who wouldn't want to park their brain in the Happiest Place on Earth?!? :confused3 And thank goodness we have our Dis'er friends to join us. :goodvibes

I had a dream last night that Disney built a park down the street from my house! geez!!

I totally understand. I also keep thinking about different scenarios for 2011! It's good to have friends that understand.:flower3:

If it was not for the Dis boards I would go insane. DIS is like a drug and I need my fix everyday!:lmao: My friends and family get tired of hearing about Disney, here people are like me and I can talk all I want about Disney. Got a trip coming up in 18 days and that is all that is on my mind. Making my list and checking them twice. Can't wait to finish my plan for my and DH's trip coming up in Jan 2010. It is just going to be him and I without the kids this time. Will be great not having to worry about feeding, dressing, putting to bed, and make sure they are having a great time. Just have to worry about myself.:cheer2:

We're all perfectly sane to me. Besides the planning and constant checking of the Dis boards, little things in everyday life remind me of Disney. The smell of certain soaps. The cleaner that Target uses in their bathrooms must be the same ones Disney uses. Making dd a sandwhich with the same bread and lunch meat we had on our last trip. I need to get a life.
It's sad when you think the smell of a bathroom at Target smells good because it reminds you of Disney.

I've got the same problem....can't turn off the disney brain.

I have a good friend who has this problem too....we drive our spouses silly with it...
