I'm usually in bed by now and I soooooo can not sleep.
Bubba starts school tomorrow and I think I've got myself all worked
up about it. Will he have a good year? Will he have a good teacher?
I would usually chat with MA about all this and maybe that's what's bugging me. She would be here. She should be here. She would be the voice of reason. She would be here at the crack of dawn with donuts and coffee staking out her spot to watch him get on the bus. And then she would make her way to the school to watch him get off the bus. She just loved him. As much as I do and it's not right that she's not here.
we did our bedtime routine and he asked me if I thought she would be with him tomorrow. I said of course she will. I hope she's watching over us.
Life is just hard some days.
thanks for letting me vent.
See you all in the am.

It's gonna be a great year!! Bubba has a great mom, and you will keep on top of things. And he is a great kid, and is happy to see his friends... It'll all work out just fine!
He did his Santa gig for many years (I was older when he started, but my sibs always were amazed that Santa knew the insider info on our family). The first Christmas was really rough, and it is still bittersweet, but it does get easier.
