Cant sleep - worried about son/money *** updated #19 ***

Congratulations to your Son Katie, you must be ever so proud! :thumbsup2

Gives you a little relief too that you know he can do it and that he's doing it well! Then again, I guess you never doubted him at all :goodvibes

Great news!

As someone who's been through everything you're going through (daughters at Uni, debts, hubbie who's not their natural father), I just want to reassure you that you'll all come out the other side relatively unscathed! There's so much more I could say, but you'll have to excuse me for having neither the time nor the energy at the moment. ;)

congratulations to your DS

congratulations to your DS

Thank you all :cool1:

There is no better feeling than being a proud mum, unless its getting on a plane to MCO :rotfl:

Does your DS have a personal tutor at uni? If he does, encourage him to have a chat with them if he is at all worried about his course. They're there to support him when he needs it so he should definitely have a chat. If he is having financial difficulties the Student's Union is brilliant at offering assistance and advice so encourage him to talk to them too.

I know universities can be really awkward about finance - they have so many rules and regulations and they're not very flexible. But you can usually sort any problems out if you get the Student's Union and the lecturers involved. :thumbsup2
