Can't make ADRs - frustrating!

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

Our 180 day window opened up last Friday (2nd). I got confirmation of my 12 digit reference number from my TA (I am in the UK) and successfully opened a WDW account which has linked my room reservations, no problem.

However, it won't let me make my ADRs past 180 days! We are staying there for 14 days and wanted to take advantage of our +10. The website says:

"Resort Guests can book dining for the first 10 days of their vacation starting 180 days before the first day of the vacation. For Resort Guests with a dining plan, confirming also associates their dining plan to their dining reservation, so that reservations that would otherwise require pre-payment will not require pre-payment for Guests wishing to use their dining plan."

Sounds simple! So why won't it accept my 12 digit reference for making reservations when it has for my hotel (CSR)?

We have QSDP, btw. Thanks in advance for any help!

QSDP is for Quick Service (Counter Service) restaurants. None use ADR's. If you are dining at Table Service restaurants you'll want to upgrade to DDP which includes 1 QS, 1 TS and 1 snack per person per day.

If you are logged in to your account and it correctly shows your resort reservation then yes, you should be able to make 180+10 reservations. If not, call Disney Dining although not sure if they have a toll free number for those in UK. The website does have online chat that may be able to help.

Lol I'm not trying to use my CS credits for TS meals :rotfl:

However we got the QSDP free so I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth - will happily use two CS per day and pay for one TS though. Usually we've paid for all meals on the trip so the saving here is a bonus.

Still doesn't explain why I can't make my 180+10 ressies though.

We also have the free QSDP but we upgrade this to DDP for about $16USD per person per night. That gives us 1QS, 1TS and 1 snack per day. For breakfast we either pay OOP, or bring cereal and buy milk, fruit etc. at resort and eat in room. Depending on your dining needs, upgrading to DDP maybe quite a bit cheaper.

I had the same problem, and I finally had to clear all the "cookies" from my computer and it worked fine.

We did look into this option but UK pricing is different to US pricing (and the DP's differ slightly) so it worked out a fair bit more expensive to upgrade the DP (plus most of the restaurants are either 2 credit signatures or non-DP restuarants anyway, mainly at DTD). Apparently UK visitors still get 2 snack credits for 2012 so it means we still have plenty of food and cash spare if we don't upgrade but pay for our TS meals. For 3 of our 14 days we are offsite too doing Universal/IoA/SW so credits would be wasted on these days!

Can't you just call instead? I would still be frustrated because it should work and it's obviously not. I prefer to do things online than over the phone but at this point, I would just call to make the ADRs.

Had the same problem and had to make my dinning plans over the phone. They rep said they knew of the problem and were looking into an update to fix the problem

I could call but it would cost around $40 to make all my ADRs, ringing from the UK! :rotfl:
