We have 2 rooms booked through Orbitz as well. I do not know if there is a time frame that you have to wait before linking as we waited a few days. I would say wait a day or two and if you are still having problems you might have to call.
We had a problem linking one of our rooms. One room linked fine and the other one wouldn't. DH called Disney and they were not seeing a reservation under the name and confirmation # but said that more than likely the room is booked but there is something messed up along the way and suggested we called Orbitz to verify with them. DH then called Orbitz and after a bit of checking they figured out the the last name on the problem reservation was mistyped. In our confirmation it was showing it spelled correctly but in their system it was spelled wrong. After they fixed the spelling it linked fine.
