cant get a ticker!!!!

hi i have been frantically trying to get a ticker going but no luck.i have got the ruler and slider sorted but cant get any further .ihave tried the top box(bbcode?) but dont know how to paste!!!! please help in idiot terms pref. thanks lenny.i have a

I think before you can have a signature you need to have posted more often but i'm not completely sure about that.

Use the code beginning - [url=http: and paste it into your signature if you can have one.

The bbCode box is the right one to copy and once you have copied it, come back to the DIS and click on User CP link that's near the top of the page on the left.

This will take you to your Control Panel, so click on the first link on the left that says 'Edit Signature'. That will open up a box (like a Reply to Thread box) into which you paste your copied bbCode.

Click on Preview Signature to see it and, if you're happy, click on Save Signature... I hope that helps...

I think you may need 10 posts before you can create a signature. Just add another 6 posts to this thread and then follow Karen's tutorial.
