I've looked through 14 pages of threads and can't find that thread on Hershey Park coupons. Can anyone direct me? My friend and her family are leaving this afternoon and I remember they could maybe find coupons at the local Dunkin Donuts there, but I thought there was another place they could look while they're there.

Thank you!!!

They had coupons there and at Wendy's. If she's a AAA member, she can stop by the branch and buy tickets there - I know the adult tickets were $11 off the box office where the coupons only saved $8

You can purchase discount tickets at Giant Food Stores. They have one of the best discounts right now. If you are going to Hershey from I-81 there is a Giant Food Store on Route 39 on your way to the park.

Thank you for the Giant Food Store info because they are staying near the park and that sounds easy too. I just called her with both of your great info and she is VERY appreciative!

Giant's tickets are either the same price or cheaper than AAA. I thought they were cheaper but I am not 100% sure since we have season passes. Also, in case she didn't know, you can go in after 7:30pm and "preview" the park for free. Just show the tickets for tomorrow or whenever they are going and you can go in the night before for free after 7:30.

I looked at the hersheypark site to try to find out if the boardwalk/water area would still be open after labor day weekend but couldn't find any specific mention of seperate hours/dates.
Does anybody know anything about that by chance?

Yes, the boardwalk is open whenever the park is open which includes weekends in September. It is open from 10am - 4/5/6 depending on the day.
Here is a link. . .

Oops, I'm too late for the OP, but on my can of Pepsi there is a promo code 6561 to receive $8 off one Regular one-day admission (9-54yo). One discount per person, only at HP or hersheypark.com Valid through 9/29/07.

Hope it can help someone...

I live about 20 minutes from the park and buy season passes. As far as I know, they never offer buy one get one free deals or anything like that. The cheapest prices on tickets are at Giant grocery stores in the area. I also think AAA prices are close to the giant ones. The best "deal" they offer is a free preview the night before you use your tickets and Chocolate World is free so you can do that on a non park day if you are here for an extended period of time. Also, children under three are free. Let me know if you have any other questions and I can try to answer them.

Do you know if Giant or AAA also offer discounts on season passes? We live a little over an hour away and I was thinking of getting season passes for 2008, but the price on the website is $115/person regardless of age. I was just wondering if they were ever available any cheaper than that.

Nope - Hersheypark is the only place you can get season passes. $115 is actually a very good price when you consider it gives you unlimited admission to Hersheypark and Zoo America, free parking (which I think is $8 every time you go now), admission to all of their special events - Springtime in the Park, Halloween (Hersheypark in the Dark) and Christmas Candylane, as well as 15% off of all food and merchandise. I wasn't sure if you knew everything it included so I thought I would list it. Not to sound like a salesperson for Hersheypark or anything but we consider it a very good deal when you consider gate price for one day is around $47 per adult (discounted tickets are usually $35) plus the seasonal events which are around $20 per adult plus everything else that is included.

Good luck no matter what you decide!

Thanks! No I did not realize it included all of that. That does make it seem like a much better deal than I previously thought. It's a hard call still though because I would have to buy six passes and that adds up to a lot of cash. Maybe if the price is still around the same at tax income tax refund time I will take the plunge.

I hear ya! I only have to buy three passes which makes it a little easier. The price does go up. $115 per pass is good now through the end of Sept. Oct 1 - Dec it is $125 per person. Starting 1/1/08 it is $125 for 3-8 and 55+ and is $135 per person for 9-54. That is as high as the price goes.

Since you go to Hershey Park often, maybe you would know the answer to this question: do they allow you to bring food, drinks and coolers into the park?

No. There are lots of picnic tables near the parking lots where you can picnic but you have to leave your coolers in the car and exit the park to picnic.

However. . .
DD is almost 4 and they have never given me a hard time about taking in a few juice boxes, goldfish crackers, etc. They do check bags and stollers but not very thoroughly so you might be able to slip a little more in but definitely not a whole meal for a family. I do have a friend who takes in one of those little soft sided coolers (like the type that would hold a few baby bottles) with a sandwich or two and drinks for her and DD4. I think she just puts it in the bottom of her stroller with a towel or coats on top.

Have fun whenever you go!
