Cannot decide when to go and need your help. Was thinking of either going towards the end of January, middle of March, middle of April or beginning of May. April & May would be for the Flower & Garden show. How are the crowds? How bad is it in March & April? How cold is it in January?

If you really want to swim I would not pick January. Some people will swim at this time, the pools are heated, but the air temp will probably be chilly, too chilly for us but then we are really southerners. The crowds will be heavier, though, in March and April because school spring breaks are spread out during those months. The week before and the week after Easter will be the worst, and next year Easter will be the end of March. It really depends on what you want to do and how well you handle crowds. Some people freak out if they have to wait in any line at all, but we just feel like that is Disney, we always go when school is out. We don't do commando and whatever we miss we will just see next trip. Hope this helps...Lacee

We went the 2nd week of May last year and the crowds were very reasonable. The flower show at Epcot was awesome...great topiaries (sp?)!! It was unusually hot for that time of year though. Since Easter is March 27, 2005, maybe the last week of April after school vacations are over would be a good choice or the 1st week in May. :)

I want to check out the Flower & Garden fest and some warmer temps (I'm ready after a long, cold MA winter!!). I've been mid to late January and it tends to be cool, but not by our standards. Went this past MLK weekend and it was great, but last Jan was cold - we were there when records were broken!!! We couldn't believe they actually had lifeguards at the pools (totally bundles up!)!! I've heard that March and April are busy with Spring Breaks and over Easter.

Hope this helps - good luck with your decision!!! :teeth:

I did not realize Easter was so early next year. I'm starting to lean towards the first week of May. Do they offer AP rates in May? Now to decide whether I want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge or check out the newly refurbished Port Orleans French Quarter.

travelin' tigger, I know what you mean regarding the weather up here. I'm getting pretty sick of the snow & cold.
