Can't decide! what would you do?

We are getting the Deluxe DP when we arrive for the first night one only, and the next day is father's day.
Here are the options:
Do the Boma for dinner the first day and then do the characted lunch at Tusker house and then dinner at Epcot in Japan (DH wants to go there for father's day if he had to choose in Epcot)
Other option is Boma, Le Cellier for luch an then Japan for dinner
and last option is Boma first dinner, OOP for lunch an Hoop-dee-doo for dinner and later on during the week go to Japan for dinner OOP. I figured at the Hoop-dee-doo DH can get really happy with the included drinks to celebrate.
I need to make the reservations today

My DH got picked to go on stage at the Hoop Dee Doo in January,but I got sick on the sangria, so that clouds my thinking. I would pick the first option. I also didn't like the HDD as much as I had 30 years ago, except for DH's part, of course.

I'd say in order to get your money's worth, do HDDR and Boma on DDP. Japan isn't terribly expensive and makes more sense to do OOP vs DDP.

When is your vacation? I have been reading that the Hoop Dee Doo would be closed for refurbishment September 4 - October 24, just so you know. Of course, double check with Disney to see if this is really the case Have fun!
PS - We looove Boma! Just discovered it on our last trip...
