Can't Decide! Opinions Needed Please!

With the codes that finally came out for October, I'm not stuck trying to make a decision: Preferred or Standard rooms at Pop.

Last year we chose the Preferred and absolutely loved it! So that's what we decided to do this year. 5nights/6days preferred is going to cost us $624.35.

Now, with the new MYW code, we could get the same amount of nights (including 1 day MYW base tickets that we don't need) for $430.34. This would save us $194.01!

I asked my husband if he would rather save the money or have the preferred room and he's not sure. My in-laws are also going to be with us for the trip, so we'd have to ask them if they would want to change to standard as well.

So, my question really is, are the preferred rooms really worth it? Or is it ok to suck it up and walk further each day but save money in a standard room?

Thats alot of money to save....I would stick with standard.


We are booked for 4 nights in Jan and with the AAA discount the difference between standard and preferred was $50 or so...I decided on the preferred

No, not worth it for preferred room.

I's save the $200.

Some of the standard rooms are actually quieter (away from the pool and walking traffic areas).

I'd save the money as well. You can request the group of rooms next to the preferred and not be so far. I have not stayed at Movies, however, we request Jazz a the Music and they're not that far at all. Have fun.

You're kidding me. A preferred room is the same only less walking? What is next a preferred corridor room that is not at the end?

LOL Thanks for all the responses! I'm all for getting the standard room, it's just a matter of getting hubby on board.
