It will be me, DS turning 15, DD 6. We're Disney veterans, but the only Epcot TS restaurant my kids have tried is Garden Grill. I have also been to Rose and Crown, Le Cellier, Tutto Italia, and Teppan Edo.

Right now my ADRs are for Le Cellier and Garden Grill.

My DD is requesting Coral Reef because she saw photos of the aquarium. I'm just not sure how much she'd enjoy it if we weren't seated near enough to have a good view. I would love to try Biergarten and Marrakesh. I just never seem to be able to fit them in, and I'm not sure if my son would care for the food.

My son is a meat and potatoes kind of kid, DD and I will try most anything. I want to choose places that have decent food, they don't have to be gourmet or anything spectacular, but they do need to be at least average. It would also be good if there was something to hold DD's attention. That's the one thing making me doubt Le Cellier, well, that and maybe it would be nice to try something new since I've been to Le Cellier twice already. I am in the minority I think because I'm not in love with Le Celllier, LOL, but I know my DS would like the steak and breadsticks, and I think both kids would like the chocolate moose dessert.

Other ADRs we have over the course of our 11 days, if it matters: Chef Mickey's dinner, CRT breakfast, Crystal Palace breakfast, Hollywood & Vine lunch, 1900 Park Fare dinner, Hoop De Doo Review, 'Ohana dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner, and we plan to have lunch at Beaches and Cream one day.

I'd like to hear everyone else's opinions. :goodvibes

As long as it is not Marrakesh, the CS is great but the TS is terrible in Morocco.

I haven't been to San Angel Inn, so I can't speak for that one. I voted for Coral Reef and Teppan Edo.

I don't think there really is a bad seat in CR. We went for the first time back in February, and while we waited a little bit for a table up front, we're going to sit wherever they put us next time. We're hoping to see more of the tank that way. Great food, fantastic service and well, great view!

And as for Teppan Edo, I figure it might just be the sort of thing to hold your DD's attention. We had a blast the last time we went. There were two smaller children at the same seating, and the chef did a wonderful job keeping them entertained. Delicious food, great entertainment.

The only one -I- wouldn't do would be Marrakesh. We've got better food like that here in town. It just wasn't that great. And I have a feeling we might have had a better time if we had gotten a better table. I like the music, but it was way too loud sitting right next to the musicians.

Thank you. Hearing others' opinions helps me reason things out. I think about it so much that sometimes I can't think, if that makes sense.

Maybe I'll save Marrakesh for a trip when the kids aren't with me. Or maybe I'll just grab food from the Tangierine Cafe (which I LOVE) and watch MoRockin' play instead, LOL. The Morocco pavilion is my favorite in all of Epcot.

I figured Garden Grill was a 'safe' choice since we'd been there a few times already and I know we all like it. But then we're doing Chef Mickey's so we really don't need another meal with Mickey, or another character meal in general actually. And we've already been there a few times. We really should try something else this time.

Le Cellier, Coral Reef and Teppan Edo are choices I know DS would be happy with as far as the food goes. It's all what he would consider 'normal' food, with meat on the menus, LOL.

San Angel and Biergarten are iffy. He's not extremely picky like some kids I know, but he won't eat foods he considers too strange either.

I was concerned with Le Cellier not being 'entertaining' enough. But then we have too many entertaining meals already, LOL, sometimes it's nice to just eat with no distractions. I was concerned with Coral Reef seating giving us not so great a view, but if we could see at least some of the aquarium from everywhere that would be fine. I really had no reservations about Teppan Edo other than it not being a new place for me. The kids have never been there and I did enjoy my meal there so I wouldn't mind going back.

Maybe I should cancel one of my other meals so we can do an extra TS at Epcot.

I voted for Coral Reef and LeCellier... we have been to CR for the past 3 years and have enjoyed it so much that my DS16 requested to go there on his birthday which just happens to fall on the 2nd day of our trip (next week). My DS 14 will only eat steak or pork chop, potatoes, salad... and he also loves CR. DD 11 loves seafood, so she loves CR, too. EVERY table has a view of the aquarium. The seating area is tiered so that each table can see over the one between it and the aquarium. This is not a great picture, but you get the idea how the aqarium is in a window and these windows extend across the length of the restaurant.

As for Le Cellier, well you've been there so you know how great it is. Mushroom filet and pretzel bread... what more could you ask for? ...well, except for maple creme brulee!! :rotfl:

Other EPCOT fave's:

San Angel Inn - good Mex food, but atmosphere is tops

Les Chefs de France - food is delicious, but it's a little crowded :crowded:

They're all good and always remember... it's just food. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I voted for Le Cellier and Coral Reef.

Le Cellier is one which will always be on our MUST list!

I haven't tried Coral Reef, but of the places listed in the poll it is one of the few I will try. I would also try Garden Grill.

One not mentioned that I recommend is Chefs De France. We had a great meal there in May.

Another vote for Coral Reef and LeCellier !!!!!!

We did not care for Garden Grill at all. Biergarten has nice entertainment food was average.

hi everyone this is my first post!

my opionion of my last trip we went to san angel on a recomendation....the atmosphere is great but man the food was horrible.... after eating at marrakesh, maya grill and narcooses in the same trip it was a real letdown..just my 2 cents

CR is one of our favorites at Epcot. My 6 year old DD loves the aquariam and the food has been really good every time. We got to sit right next to the tank last month and the divers were playing around with my DD through the glass. We haven't taken my DD to Marrakesh yet but my DH and I ate there years ago and I think kids would be entertained by the belly dancing. The food isn't all the exotic either.

My favorite TS from our trip was Coral Reef. We were about as far from the water as you could get but my girls still enjoyed it. DH and I both got the Mahi Mahi and it was wonderful!

Thanks everyone. It looks like Le Cellier and Coral Reef are winning by miles. :goodvibes

My 1st choice would be Les Chefs de France, so I voted other. To me, there's not another standout on the list. I would base my 2nd choice on circumstances. We haven't tried CR yet though. I hope it proves to be better than the others listed in October. :goodvibes
