Can't decide about MNSSHP.....

So we have never done MNSSHP. We've done the Christmas party twice and really weren't that impressed. (Both parties were sold out and so crowded we couldn't do hardly anything.) We've heard the Halloween party is much better than the Christmas party, but $350ish is a lot of money for one evening. Planning to go on a Thursday night if we do decide to go. It's also potentially the last trip we could take to disney with all 4 kids and we would like to do what we can to make it special. What are your thoughts? Is it worth the money? Thanks for any thoughts or opinions!

Worth is subjective. I'm going to my fifth MNSSHP next week, while I've gone to one MVMCP.

Generally speaking, posters here tend to favor MNSSHP over MVMCP--me included obviously.

MNSSHP in my opinion is much better then the Xmas party. Love the Boo To You Parade. Our whole family loves MNSSHP.

Our family has done MNSSHP twice and MVMCP once. We all prefer MNSSHP, by far. I mean, I'm glad we did the Christmas party, but we probably won't go again. If we were still able to travel to WDW during the fall (kids are getting too old to pull out of school for a week), I'm sure we would go to the halloween party again.

Just us two senior adults, and we think it is one of the best things that Disney has to offer. We have traveled to Disney from Ohio for the past two ears just to do the party. Just can't stop smiling when I think about it.
