My online check in failed as well. It crashed after entering Credit Card info for onboard expenses. I called the helpline and was on for 4 hours before I got to someone. They indicated they were having issues with the checkin as well as adding and removing activities/excursions.
While on the phone with them I was on a computer and no checkin options were available and the ability to modify activities and excursions were disabled. The support person reset something on my profile that activated my ability to modify activities and excursions but checkin options were still not available. The support person was stumped and I didn't know what to do and I told the person I would try logging in later.
Soon after, I opened up the Navigator app and the checkin option was available on the app and I was able to do all check in options from there.. I checked the website on my computer but the checkin was still no where to be found.
I am not sure what is going on but it appears to be something on their end.. It would seem they have a fix for the excursion and activities being disabled but no solution yet for the checkin problems when accessing from the reservation page of the website.
Try the following, it was my experience but it may not reflect other peoples issues..
- Using a web browser, if no option is available to checkin see if you can edit or modify excursions or onboard activities, if you are indeed locked out of modifying these things something is locked somewhere and they have to reset or do something
- Using a web browser if no option is available to check in but you can modify or edit excursions/onboard activities check the reservation in the navigator app for the checkin option
- If both the checkin option and the edit excursion/onboard activities are available.. Why are you reading this?
