Can't Check In!

Our check in availability was last night and I could get in, but was out of town and didn't have our passport numbers. Now that I am online, trying to check in, the option isn't available. I'm on hold with DCL now, but am I missing something on the website? I tried on my laptop, phone and the app, with no option to check in.
 
Current wait time on hold is expected to be 425 minutes. They won't even be open that late!
 
The whole thing has been glitchy since the "upgrade" the other day. Cruises keep vanishing, you can't check in, nobody can access their previous cruises. Who knows?

If you can't get through tonight, then try first thing in the morning when they open. The wait is usually very short at that time. Or, keep refreshing the your reservation and see if the chat is ever available.

I checked in last night as well and had a terrible time, but finally completed it. This morning, when I went in to just make sure it was still there, I now have no access to my check-in information and it says I still owe over $900, which I do not. I noticed that the app is completely down all day and that the website is not fully functional. Glitch? Earlier in the day, a screen came up on the website with Dory that said 'something fishy is going on here'.... YEP! I guess at some point it will correct, but highly disconcerting! :crazy::scared1::boat:

I accessed the chat feature today to add celebrations and food allergies to my reservation. Was in chat for an hour and at the end she couldn't even do it because the system was so glitchy on her end. She had to escalate it to her manager and even they had a hard time. It is slightly frustrating but the CM was awesome and kept me updated the whole time. I will say I am happy I didn't phone in and waited or I would not be a happy camper.

It's crazy just how bad the system is on their end, too. Even before the update!

Last month, my flight was canceled and I missed by 7-night cruise on the Fantasy. So, I had my TA call and rebook us on back-to-back cruises on the Dream. He waited for about 1.5 hours, but then it took over two hours talking to a CM to actually rebook us and set everything up. No wonder the wait times are always so long!
 
There have also been lots of reports of exchange rate issues for those who book not in USD where even though they paid in full previously they suddenly owe a couple of pence (in the cases I've seen) and therefore are unable to check in. I think the system is just a complete car crash and perseverance is the only way
 
My online check in failed as well. It crashed after entering Credit Card info for onboard expenses. I called the helpline and was on for 4 hours before I got to someone. They indicated they were having issues with the checkin as well as adding and removing activities/excursions.

While on the phone with them I was on a computer and no checkin options were available and the ability to modify activities and excursions were disabled. The support person reset something on my profile that activated my ability to modify activities and excursions but checkin options were still not available. The support person was stumped and I didn't know what to do and I told the person I would try logging in later.

Soon after, I opened up the Navigator app and the checkin option was available on the app and I was able to do all check in options from there.. I checked the website on my computer but the checkin was still no where to be found.

I am not sure what is going on but it appears to be something on their end.. It would seem they have a fix for the excursion and activities being disabled but no solution yet for the checkin problems when accessing from the reservation page of the website.

Try the following, it was my experience but it may not reflect other peoples issues..

  • Using a web browser, if no option is available to checkin see if you can edit or modify excursions or onboard activities, if you are indeed locked out of modifying these things something is locked somewhere and they have to reset or do something
  • Using a web browser if no option is available to check in but you can modify or edit excursions/onboard activities check the reservation in the navigator app for the checkin option
  • If both the checkin option and the edit excursion/onboard activities are available.. Why are you reading this?

And one of our ground transfers disappeared. Phone wait time is 155 minutes. So I'm guessing they're having not-small system issues... I'll give them a few days to see if it sorts itself out.

We are having the same issue of not reflecting that we are PIF, hence why we can't check-in. I finally got through to a rep who said that we are being charged up front for the booked excursions and shouldn't be. He was unable to fix it on his side, but also said that they are aware of the issue and it's affecting many. They are working on a fix on the backend. He told me to keep checking.
