Can't Buy Universal Express Tickets, Frustration

I am trying to buy Universal two park One day Universal Express Plus passes from the official Universal Tickets site for August 2011. At the moment it is showing the August 2011 prices, but when I try to select the days I wish to purchase, August 2011 is not available.

Does anyone know when I will be able to purchase the passes for August 2011, or if there are any alternative ticket outlets.

I'm sure it'll fix itself soon, can't do much about website errors.

Piece of advice, I would wait till you go to the park before buying those. August is the time where kids start going back to school and the parks begin to die down a little bit and you cannot get a refund on express passes or use them a different day.

If you purchase those tickets for August and change your mind, you are out of luck since the passes are date specific. I would also suggest that you wait until you get into the park to purchase.

although ordinarily I would want wait until I get to the parks I would like to buy the passes now as they are supposed to be christmas presents this year. I guess I'll have to wait until the website is fixed.

I doubt Express Plus pass prices will be updated in the next month or so. I'm guessing early next year once they decide how much to charge for them in the summer.

Can you whip up something homemade on the computer instead of actual Express passes? As the PPs have said, there is a good chance that the Expresses won't be needed and that money could be used for something else. That's sure what I would do!
