Thanks! We'd be staying there on points also. Sounds old and dingy, not sure that is the type of place we'd want to stay to celebrate our 25th anniversary, even if it is close to Black Rock. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

If you have Hyatt points or can get a good deal the Hyatt regency Maui was still spectacular. Were there 29 years ago on our honeymoon, 11 years ago with dh & dd's and just 2 weeks ago after Aulani with 21 year old dd. It was still an awesome hotel! Great for your anniversary and you'll get special treats

We just got back a couple of hours ago from a week at WDW and VB and feeling withdrawals. I always get a little sad after vacation and especially having to go back to work, the worse was last year after coming back from Aulani. I guess we just have to continue to work and plan for next vacation!
