Can't believe I have a MUG question!

I don't think this will incite anyone, though. I was just wondering about something and thought this was the only place I might be able to answer this question. Anyone know what year they started adding "good thru your stay" verbage to the refillable mugs? I noticed someone with an allstar mug that lacked those words and for no particular reason I wanted to figure out they haven't been to Disney since at least 19??

I have 5 mugs from POR purchased in 2003. I don't remember if they had a sticker to say it was good for length of stay, but there is nothing imprinted on the mug itself to say anything of that nature.

I was always told that they were only 'good' for your stay when I went in '98 and '99.

I get free ones this year anyway though (part of the Virgin package)

The actual verbage upon the mug is recent--last year none of my mugs stated that they were good only for length of stay--of course I knew that. In 1996 they were good forever as I was told prior to purchase.

Let me be the first to say I've taken my mug back TO THE SAME RESORT and reused it.

In 2003 our Riverside mugs had the sign that said this but it wasn't imprinted on the mug itself. Last year our POP mugs did have the wording imprinted on the mugs.

Ok i admit it I have used mine at the same resort too.....

when we stayed at POR after satying at he WL i asked if we needed to buy new mugs since we had purchased them 3 days sooner at WL amd they said Not really just go fill them no one will say anything... so i think they are pretty flexible.. None of our WL mugs from 02 say anything the 2 newers ones we bought last year for the kids do.....something along the line of free refills through lemgth of stay.....

What exactly is the 'Virgin package'?

I have reused my POFQ mugs at POFQ, that was back in 1999 and 2000 I believe...
I have seen all kind of mugs being used, I would not do that...
