Can't believe I am asking this... Where can we find Belle at DLR?

No laughing here !!!:rotfl2: All kidding aside...this is a very important subject. As you can see in my siggie, I have a DD9, and princesses are EXTREMELY important. When we were there in Feb, we saw Belle in her blue dress at GK at the tail end of brunch during the week. If I didn't know better, I would say that she was the same Belle that did the storytelling on the resort channel. Those of you with girls that have stayed onsite will know what I mean.

Alternate thought for you. Does she have to have her picture taken with Belle or does she ust want to see Belle? Would she be happy with Fantasmic? She will get to see Belle and Beast dance and will see Belle at the front of the Mark Twain at the end.

Also, you could check at City Hall when you arrive. They can check if Belle is scheduled anywhere else for the day. :)

How exciting to be going to DL with someone over the age of 13 for their first visit (that she'll remember anyway)! Nothing like seeing the park through the eyes of a first-timer. Fun!

When she visited DL when she was 4 she had her pic taken with Belle. That is her reason for wanting another pic. :)

One note about trying to see characters in front of the Mickey floral. While it is a considerably shorter wait in line than the PFF and doesn't cost what a character meal does, the time the characters are in this area is very, very short so just becase you're in line does not mean you're actually going to get the character.

I have seen guests lined up to meet a character in front of the Mickey florals when the character has to announce that she can only see 3 more families(and there are 20 more guests lined up behind the 3rd family). Your best bet is to arrive there a little bit early and if the character shows up, follow that character as she sets up her line so you're near the front. And because of the short time frame issue, you may only get a picture taken with one character, so choose accordingly.

Ah, got it. And... awwww. Sweet.

Dear Disneyland Guest Relations,

I was wondering if you could help make a simple Disney dream come true. My girlfriend, (girlfriend's name) is 17 years old and has not been to Disneyland since she was 4. She is joining my family for a visit on _______. She has a picture she took with Belle on that visit 13 years ago and mentioned to me that she would really love to have a similar photo taken again on this visit.

Although my family visits Disneyland several times a year, being one of four brothers, we have never visited PFF. However, I have read that it is random which princesses are there when it is your turn. It is my understanding from other Disney fans that finding Belle elsewhere for a picture can be a challenge.

I was wondering if there were any possible way to arrange a very brief photo opportunity moment with Belle so my girlfriend could have her wish come true on our upcoming trip. My dad takes countless photos on our Disneyland trips so I am sure he could be the photographer, if we could just get Belle and (girlfriend's name) together. It would mean so much if I could make this happen for her.

OKAY!!!! NOW, I am LAUGHING!!!!!:lmao:
I must say that some CMs at the point where you get to see the princesses in PFF will ask if you are wanting to see a particular one. Tell this person your story. Maybe they will hold her to the side until Belle arrives.

Do they post anywhere (like the Times Guide?) specific places and times for character greets each day? Thanks!

Many of the CMs can call a “Character Finder CM.”

The character finder should be able to tell the CM you are asking approximately when and where Belle will appear that day. In addition to the CMs at City Hall, the CMs at the Wait Times Board at the end of Main Street can also do this (or any CM with access to the ToonLine :earsboy: ).

Wouldn’t hurt to ask. :goodvibes

It's my understanding that some CMs will allow you to wait while others will enforce the totally random nature of PFF. It would be nice if they would allow you to wait off to the side, but I can also see where it could be a problem if everybody is waiting off to the side.

Well... When you are done laughing, ask yourself what Disney dies and what they might do to make someone's visit special, if they knew. People who get engaged in front of the castle when it is roped off to everyone don't land their by accident.

If you want to leave it to chance, in addition to PFF, ask at City Hall where Belle will be on that day.

We saw her both at the princess lunch at Ariel's (in her yellow princess dress) and we also saw her at Goofy's Kitch for breakfast (she was in her blue apron dress outfit). Hope this helps!

Oh boy, you were dead serious and I thought you were only partially serious! :) I will talk to DS17 and suggest this to him and let him be the hero for his girl! ;)

I took my two DDs to PFF last October. They did not get to see all of the princesses of course, (they saw Snow White, Cinderella and Mulan) but the CM working at the exit said she really loved the girls' outfits and handed us this card:

which allowed us to return right after the coronation ceremony and have a private meet with Aurora in a little meet room they have just off the "stage" area at the bottom of the steps. I'll bet they'd do the same if they heard your sweet Belle story! ;)

ETA: Well, with Belle, not Aurora :lmao:

I am posting a followup to this thread for everyone's info. :teacher:

Since we only had one day we decided to take our chances with the spontaneous 3PM appearance.

I sent DS17 and his DGF over there and they said there was a spontaneous appearance at 3PM. But it was Goofy and Pluto.

On the plus side we did get to see the Fantasmic show that night which features two appearances by Belle. One on the float dancing with the Beast, and one where she was up front on the Mark Twain as it approached at the end.

Yes, but the person playing Goofy was GORGEOUS! ;)

Too bad she didn't get the pic... :sad1:

But the most important thing is, did she have fun?
