Can't Believe He Said YES!

Great job on the weightloss:thumbsup2

And didn't you say you bought a bikini too. This year your daughter can say you will be the HOT mama by the pool:)

Joining from the July and W.I.S.H. boards - am all caught up now. I LOVE your daughter's dresses!! Your girls are adorable. We have dinner at the Garden Grill on July 16th too - our ADR is 7pm....how about you?
5pm...our TA got us an ADR right as they open for dinner. I've heard really good things so I'm looking forward to it!
Great job on your weight loss!

Waiting to see those haircuts photos...

Oooh can't wait to see the haircuts!
Soon...very soon...as in next update soon! (New update coming after replies)

Yep, I bought a bikini! I'm SERIOUSLY hoping I can be the HOT momma by the pool in it. I am trying to take Dr.Oz's advice (I LOVE THAT MAN!) and am trying my hardest to switch my snacks to fruit and veggies instead of cookies and other junk food.

Okay, gonna try to get this all written again as my internet savy less person somehow closed the window I was working in :rotfl2:

Thing's are speeding up and slowing down as they do the closer one get's to going on any trip. It seems I blinked and before I knew it Meghan's 10th Birthday was here (this is a mile marker we are using as a count down to Disney). The same day the dresses for our trip came in the mail, my Mom and Dad came up from VA to visit and help Meghan blow out her candles. We didn't have a major celebration, we only went out to dinner and then came back to the house to feast on this....
WDWPTR091.jpg

All done to Meghan's requests...Red Velvet cake with cream cheese filling made to look like a "Pot of Gold". There was a small fondant rainbow on the top that Gillian promptly pulled off to eat so I left it off. The cake was FAR to big for our small party so we asked some of the neighborhood girls my daughters know over to share the confection. We also sent one of the girls home with about half of the cake for her family to share later on that night.

After the weekend was over I was finally able to get the girls in their dresses (My mom kept insisting they would get ruined if I let them put them on before we left). I knew though that I needed to make sure the dresses were correct and the girls were comfortable in them (I also just wanted to see how they looked on :rotfl2:). Unfortunately for me, Gillian was asleep when I did all of this so I didn't take pictures of her in the dress. (I did however try it on her later that day and she was soo adorable!)
WDWPTR097.jpg
Gillian's Snow White rag dress. I keep hearing "I'm Wishing" when I see this dress!
WDWPTR094.jpg

Hailey was MORE then happy to pose in her Pink Cinderella Dress. If you remember this is the dress that the mice and other animals made for Cindy to wear to the ball but was later destroyed by the Evil Step Sisters as Lady Trumaine egged them on. The only final touch that's missing are the turquoise beads.
WDWPTR093.jpg

Then there is Meghan as Briar Rose (please excuse the wild hair day). She saw this dress online and fell in :love: with it and after trying it on, she didn't want to take it off!

Now prior to this weekend, if you remember we ended up getting haircuts for 3 of us in the house. Hailey as you can tell in the picture above has much shorter hair and even pink streaks in there! For a better view though, I give you....
WDWPTR082.jpg

The only view I didn't get was from the back of her head...Her hair is jaw length in the front and close and layered in the back.
Gillian was the MUST do haircut after she cut off the hair on half of her head. She now looks like...
WDWPTR062.jpg
WDWPTR060.jpg

I gave both a front and side view so you could get the gist of it. I will say though that my long time friend from the area saw her one day and almost cried.
Finally there is my hair...it was starting to look like a mop and was constantly getting in my face while I was working out at the gym so I went short...I mean REALLY SHORT...
WDWPTR098.jpg

Meghan would only take a front view for me, no other views...If by chance though you are at The World the same time as me, don't be afraid to come up and say HELLO!

After much procrastinating I FINALLY got in our Garden Grocer order and was somewhat surprised (although not really with gas prices being what they are) to see an extra surcharge added on. So now we will have all of the items for the marshmallow roasting at Fort Wilderness except the chocolate (which I will be buying before we fly out). After contemplating and contemplating the best way to get to the Airport, it's been decided that because we have to be at the airport by about 5:30am, we will be taking a cab from my mom's house to the airport. We will also be checking Gillian's stroller in at the US Airway's desk and will let her wear her puppy back pack that day.

Another decision that's been made is in regards to The Pirates League. Meghan saw this while I was looking at the Walt Disney website and immediately said she wanted to do this one thing. She's earned over 100 dollars for doing her chores, making great grades (A-B honor roll for 2 6 weeks now) and has helped me out around the house with packing for the trip. So I told her we would go for it. Now I just have to find a good time to squeeze it in and call to make the appointment for her.

So here we sit, our day's numbered in the 50's and I can't help but wonder if anymore hurdles are going to be coming our way.

Those dresses are so adorable!! And, I think everyone's haircuts are very cute too. I like yours a lot! That has got to be so great for exercising and summer!

The birthday cake was also majorly impressive.

No roadbumps between now and your trip, only happy thoughts!

ARRRRGG ME HEARTIES! It's official! Meghan and DH will be joining the Pirate's League on the 17th of July at around 12 Noon! Part of me is half tempted to make this a family crew joining though because it honestly looks like FUN! The only person who would miss out on this sadly would be Gillian (she's still under 3 which is the age requirement to participate).

Meghan will be going for the EMPRESS look and is quite excited about it. I found a pirates costume online for her and will be buying that within the next few weeks.
Not sure which look DH will go for (knowing him it might be the skeleton or the multi-eyed Jack look) but he's said he's on board for it.

The only thing Meghan is worried about is her new pirate name...other then that she's anxious about becoming a pirate chick with a sword:banana:

There is a bakery here in town that does GREAT work (and DELICIOUS work too). Originally I wanted to do a free standing rainbow but the lady said she didn't know how they would do a support system for a cake like that so we went for the pot.

Thank you BOTH for the compliments on the haircuts! I still have friends though that see Gillian with her short hair and keep commenting on how I should NOT put her in blue and how it's time to get her ears peirced (which I plan to do with in the next month so I can get her Mickey earrings!). Hailey is starting to love her hair now although she was NOT happy about getting it cut.

I keep having nothing but positive :goodvibes:goodvibes for our trip but I just feel like I'm forgetting to do something. I will figure it out soon though I KNOW I will!

LOVE the dresses!!!!! Super cute! Where did you get them?

Haircuts are cute too :)

Yeah for Pirates League! We did BBB with Sammie at age 5, so when Alex is 5, he can do Pirates League if he wants ... I hope he does!

Sammie does not have her ears pierced yet, though she just started talking about it, so maybe for her 7th birthday!

I found this lady on E-Bay, her prices were reasonable and she had several diffrent dresses (even one's for adults too and some for boys). I used her last year for Meghan's provincial Belle dress and decided to work with her again this year. She had me send in their measurements and then in a weekend I think she had them in the mail to us.

My older 2 girls got their ears peirced young. Meghan had her's done at age 2/3 I think and could figure out how to get them off (even screw backs ) so we waited a while for Hailey. The only way to keep them from thinking Gillian is a boy currently is to put her in pink or have a headband in her short hair :rotfl2:

Love the dresses and the haircuts are super cute.

Who wants to deal with long hair in the summer:confused: I have really curly hair and am dreading what I am going to look like in the summer with all that humidity:scared1:

I recently considered doing the Pirates League for my boys. We've been watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movies a lot lately, so they are finally more interested in pirates. Then when I was showing them, my youngest said he wanted the empress look! :sad2: Oh that boy! I think I scratched that off my list to avoid that!

Sounds like fun. If your DH gets the Captain Jack Sparrow (can't forget the Captain) eyes, he should get the hat to go with it!

Meghan has curly thick hair too. Last year it was so frizzy and she also hates having it up. For the most part we have gotten some of the curl cut out (except the natural curl that keeps coming back) but a lot is still left. So were going to go back again around the 1st of July and get it thinned out yet again and see how much more curl can be cut out.

Were considering letting Hailey do this as well (but with her behavior at home and school it's a big IF) and she want's the Mermaid look, Meghan want's Empress (much to my mother's dismay she wants her to go with one of the Captain Jack faces :rotfl2:). I'm pretty sure DH won't be doing the full skull face but more then likely one of the Jack faces in which case a hat is defanitly manditory.

I'm begining to feel like my husband feels before a deployment...a lot of hurry up and wait! I finally figured out what I was forgetting to do for the trip...I have yet to buy the fabric for the cute Tinkerbell sun shirts like the one I made for Meghan. I found out they have it now in Mickey and Minnie on purple background and The Princesses on Pink! So now I'm torn, do we match or do I just do what characters the girls would like to have...either way I have to decide within the next week so I can get the fabric here, get ribbon to match and get to sewing.

Hailey just lost a tooth today and has another one shortly following so pictures with characters and Princesses this year will be very cute to say the least. Gillian keeps talking about Cinderella and Daisy and now finally knows how to tell Mickey and Minnie apart

49 days to go now!

A few day's ago, I went to get my mail and had a lovely package which contained these cute little items....

WDWPTR012.jpg

WDWPTR011.jpg

WDWPTR010.jpg

Each of the girls autograph books had come! Each came with a pen, but we like the gel kind of pens and I found some on Disney.com for 8 bucks for a whole set of them in diffrent colors :thumbsup2

A few day's before that, I was shopping for DH and found this...

WDWPTR006-1.jpg

Our whole family is into Star Wars and are anxiously awaiting our turn on the new Star Tours experiance.

I've been getting my park purse ready to go for the 14th as well...it's not anything major, just a simple bag from Walmart but I kinda like it...
WDWPTR008-1.jpg

One pocket in the front and another small one one the inside...perfect for fast passes, band aids, mole skin and park passes.

Then there are our trading pins...
WDWPTR016.jpg

Which we will be keeping in 2 containers that look like
WDWPTR003-1.jpg

One is purple though so we can keep the ones we don't want to trade seperate from those that can/will be traded.

I got the fabric for the other 2 Tinkerbell shirt's ordered reciently (50% off coupon) and finally got Meghan her Kyack shoes as well as some new shorts and shirts to have on hand just in case. Our bag's are just about packed and now I'm awaiting our Disney Mail from our TA. Nothing says "TRIP TIME" to me like those yellow DME tags!

And on one final pre-trip note, I got a new tattoo today. I have a friend who did this for me before his daughter's birthday party...
WDWPTR007.jpg

I now have a LGMH on my left shoulderblade!

So we are offically 32 days out from Disney! I went and had Dogtag's printed out for each of the girls with our cell phone numbers on them, our resort name and their first names only. I let them see them and of course, one of them looses their tag:scared: This after I said to put them into the Mickey Mouse purse I am taking with us on the plane.
I got a great deal on some teal thread and finished off the 2 shirts for Gillian and Hailey and even have enough fabric left over to make myself a shirt:banana:

I have to go see my optometrist to get a box of contacts for each eye and then get toiletries in our bags (I have 2 duffel bags' ready to go, an overnight bag with 3 sets of clothes for each of us and a carry on bag all set to go :woohoo:) and I offically only have to buy 2 bra's, a tripod and my contacts!

I still have to clean out the van though but I'm holding off on that one until the last week of June so I can take it to get detailed around the first week of July. I'm still debating packing a cooler with snacks and stuff for lunches as well. It might be a whole lot cheaper then going out to eat while on the road.

I also have to finish getting my house in order. July can't seem to get here fast enough!

Love your park bag!! I also think your lime green Mickey tattoo is awesome!!

Did you find the missing dog tag???

Love your park bag!! I also think your lime green Mickey tattoo is awesome!!

Did you find the missing dog tag???

Thanks for saying so Tink!

Unfortunately I did not find the missing dog tag and she couldn't remember where she left it. I did go and get some today though and it wasn't all that bad, only 2 bucks for the tag and a new chain. I also found out the guy who works in that area (or owns the store, I wasn't sure which) also does Tshirts. I asked if I brought in a picture could he put it on a shirt and he said YES! I've been trying to get these Tinkerbell shirts that have her in a camo outfit that say Proud Army Wife/ Proud Army Daughter on them but they never come out right for me :confused3 He said all I have to do is email him the picture and the tshrit sizes and he will work them up for me in one day! So now we will have Disney/Military themed shirts to wear to the airport to pick up DH!

27 Days till DH
29 Days till Disney!

Thing's to buy: Nada! Shopping is all done (sans the shirts I plan on getting for the airport)
Thing's to pack: Tripod, toiletries, glow sticks for MSEP, contacts, undergarnments.
Thing's to do: Finish cleaning the house, put bag's into the car, stock cooler, fill up gas tank and get on the road to VA, pull out cash for Mousekeeping tips, taxi ride to the airport, Anniversary cake at 1900 Park Fare.

Glad you got a replacement, it will probably turn up now - lol - that is what always happens to me. You are welcome! It is a very cute tattoo!!

I cannot believe how on top of things you are!!!!

I love the autograph books and matching bags! It's great that you found someone that can make the shirts for you, and so quickly! Nice tattoo!

I got my boys Disney gift cards, and my 4 year old keeps wanting to hold and carry his around. I'm so worried he'll lose it! I need to put it away, even though he'll keep asking for it. Things get lost quickly among all of our crap at home.

Sounds l ike you are ready to go!
