hey guys i was looking at buying this camera tonight, but i wanted to look on the internet for some reviews... and i couldnt find anything good (or bad) about the camera... so i was coming here..


what do you guys think.

We already have a Rebel XT and considered the S2 a worthy addition.

Both are pretty good barometers of the camera's overall quality; epinions has contributions from ordinary users (like us! ) as well as more seasoned snappers.

Generally, the feeling around these boards is overwhelmingly favorable. Many people have the s2, and rave about it, and get pretty remarkable results.

It's a very good camera with a relatively good high ISO capability. The beauty of it is the LACK of noise reduction circuitry inside the camera, so when the pictures come out noisy (due to high ISO) it's easier for noise-reduction software to analyze and get rid of the noise.
