Canon Powershot A630 help

I have had my camera for about four years. It was working fine and then one day I tried to use it and the flash will not work. If the flash is turned off it works fine. Does anyone know what is wrong? Can it be fixed? Help please?

I had the same problem with mine too. Canon said we wouldhave to send it in to get fixed.
