Tink10 said:Ms Tink, you really need to relax and mabye try to be a little less quick to jump to conclusions. I never once said whether I smoke in the non-smoking rooms or not....You (along with jakesmom & mitros) assume that I do.
My post was to simply state that CM's are telling smokers that they can smoke in the non-smoking rooms and that there are many smokers who will do just that.
I certainly wouldn't call those people lazy. Many smokers, especially those from other countries are a bit more relaxed about it and don't really understand that there are so many americans who are so incredibly offended by it.![]()
Sorry to jump down your throat, but smokers get a bad rap and I like to think of myself as a courteous smoker. Stupid, but courteous!
Americans are offended by it because it makes some people very sick, as demonstrated by many of the other posts in this thread.
I would like to think that you, too, value the health of others and don't smoke in your non-smoking room. And, yes, not getting up to go outside is lazy...and selfish. <----general statement, not an attack on you.
Edited to add: These CM's are wrong and thoughtless to let people smoke in non-smoking rooms. They are certainly more thoughtless than the smokers, themselves.
