My 4 year old son is saving his money in his piggy bank to buy "treats" at WDW on our upcoming trip. We've mentioned to him that he can buy ice cream, cookies, balloons, etc., with this money, but "treats" to him are candy. In all of my research I haven't come across one candy store in the World. Is there one?

There is a candy store right on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom that should keep him very happy. :thumbsup2

There are also 2 candy stores in Dowtown Disney. Goofy's Candy Co (my favorite) is in the Marketplace, and the Candy Cauldron is on the West Side. :)

Every park has a "candy" store or at least a huge candy section in a main store.

MK Confectionary

EP there is a section of Mousegears dedicated to candy, plus all of the yummy World Showcase treats, and check out the store in Mission Space for Astronaut snacks

DHS: Crossroads or maybe Celebrity 5 & 10 has a candy section and Bevery Sunset (AKA the Villans Store) has fudge and other handmade candies and cookies.

AK: I believe Island Mercantile or maybe Beastly Bazaar is the shop with the candy section, it's on Discovery Island

Downtown Disney has Goofy's Candy Co, Candy Cauldron, and World of Disney has a large candy section.

The candy stores are listed as "shopping", not "dining." Maybe you're looking in the wrong place. I love WDW candy!

Thanks for the tip! I have been looking in dining (at the snack places). I haven't looked at any shops because I didn't plan on us shopping much with three young kids! Good to know.

Besides the shops listed above, you'll find a selection of candy in many other Disney gift shops around the parks and at the resorts.

There's also an ice cream and candy shop on the Boardwalk, I think it's called Seashore Sweets.

Alot of folks do candies around the world at World Showcase. Lots of interesting choices from 'real' English chocolates to Chinese rice candy. Also at AK at Chester and Hester's there are lots of choices.

You'd be hard pressed to find a WDW shop that doesn't have some candy for sale. If you want a gigantic sugar smack, try the parks or DTD:earsboy:

You're welcome; I made the same mistake.
