Candy Exchange Sent/Received!!

Glad Zack liked his candy, and his Pez! I got my package today from Poohnatic ~ thanks, Suzanne! I got a 1/2 pound Hershey with Almonds, a container of Whoppers, 2 snicker bars, a bunch of Caramel Bulls Eyes, 100 thousand dollar bars, Twix bars and caramel kisses... yum! It will all be enjoyed...trust me!

This box had so many goodies I am sure to forget something!!! Here we go, there was, pixie sticks (lots), smarties (lots), bubblegum, a bag full of the head candy (lemon, cherry, grape...)jar breakers, red hots..., two bags full of mini chocolates (you name it, it's in there), a bag of skittles packs, blow pops, push pop, another bag with now and laters, mint lifesavers, a coloring sticker book, crayons and a glitter swirly bracelet. Let me tell you, this kids is set for the car ride to Disney!

This package was awesome!!!

I received my package today from lewdyan's husband, Lewis, and just in time too. I finished my chocolate covered peanuts last night. I received:

a Hershey bar
a Hershey bar w/almonds
Sno Caps
a Kit Kat bar
Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
Jujyfruits
Twizzlers
strawberry and mixed fruit Mentos
Jolly Rancher Rocks
and a lime green sack full of Tootsie Rolls, Air Heads and Laffy Taffy

Thank you, Lewis! All good treats! I've never eaten Sno Caps before but my son assures me that they are very good. He was here for lunch and made off with all my Air Heads.

As I've said before, don't worry too much about it, my post office (I live in a small town) is notoriously slow. I get all my magazines about 3 weeks after they are on the store shelves! I think they read them first!

Unfortunatley I commute to work and leave and return when the post office is closed. I will see if I can get DD to physically go to the post office and enquire about the packages for us tomorrow. (She's babysitting today).

Mine is a small-town post office too. The folks in there are very nice, but it's also very slow. I've suspected that someone's watching my Netflix DVDs as they are coming and going.

Still and all, I'm in Connecticut and your package went to New York and I sent it out on Sept. 20th via Priority Mail -- should have taken two days and is now on day 9. It's a smallish shoe box and may have gotten misplaced in transit somewhere...or maybe some postal employee smelled chocolate?

I'm not too worried, just want you to get your candy! I'll give your package a few more days. But if I end up sending you two packages and you get both of them, you'll just have more to share with your family. I'm sure it would look better on your bottom than mine!

I completely understand about commuting -- I was commuting 1.5 hours each way before I had children and decided to stay home. I would leave when it was dark and get home when it was dark...

I received a huge box full of all kinds of goodies... forgive me if I forget to mention one or two, I started eating it last night (I think I ate too much chocolate - and ended up with a bit of a headache???)

Included in the box was a pumpkin container with a bag of M&M's inside
- 3 small kitkat bars
- large bag of starburst tropical jellybeans
- 2 smores bar
- starburst sour fruit chews
- crunch bar with caramel
- mentos breathmakers (are you trying to tell me something?)
- bouquet of tootisie pops
- starburst fruit creme chew pops
- twisted bottle pop cotton candy bubble gum flavor
- bag of popcorn
- bag of mint skittles (I think - my friends devoured them yesterday)

I'm sorry that I'm late getting my box out, I made the mistake of leaving the candy in the car (the temp was cool in the morning and I thought I would be ok in the afternoon) well, needless to say, I had to re-purchase the candy last night. The box will be sent today -

Sorry I didn't post when I thought DH was getting it sent out at work, Stopped there today and they said it weighed to much for thier mailer, so I ran it down to the post office and it cost $ 14.00 to mail. lol Hope I didn't break thier letter scale. Anyway Next time I think we should include a new toothbrush. lol This was my first time and thought dh would take care of it, now I know not to trust someone who is not a disney nut like me. Mum of two pirates.
