Candy Exchange Sent/Received!!

Well, I am not on the list. . . but I just called home and apparently there is candy waiting for me! Yeah! I will post what I get when I get home. Trust me, after a week like this, candy is definately what I need.

Why is the mail so slow? I mailed both packages out priority last Fri

It just took my package 9 days to travel 1 state away with Priority Mail!

My recipient is away on vacation still (actually pretty close to me right about now! ) But I wanted to say that I ate those mini Heaths I got and boy were they good. Never had them before either. A new candy on my love list!

I got one package from Disney Mouse Pam! Woohoo!

It had:
Chocolate Cherries (OMG, I've only got two left-these things are AWESOME)
S'Mores candies
Jelly Bellies in a tin
Sno Caps
Chocolate Chip cookies

Pam's got rich tastes, those s'mores and cherries are excellent. It's making me want to go to Harry and David for those cherries!

Thank you so much, Pam! It's been a chocolate therapy day for me!

CinderellaIam sent me an awesome box of candy!
I got:
a big bag of gummy bears (going to the movies with me this weekend)
Giant Kit Kat (might not make it to the movies)
Giant Almond Joy (will go on my short road trip with me tomorrow)
Giant 3 Musketeers (will be shared with a friend who loves those!)
Peanut M&M's (might not make it through the night)
Pecan Bar (confiscated by mother who was visiting)
Hershey Bar (confiscated by mother to give to dad)
2 DOVE Chocolate Bars (these I will save for those special chocolate days)
Two cute flowers that twist onto things
and the first casualty. . .big bag of M&M's

How many people are still waiting on theirs?
I know I will be bashed for this. But, it never fails, that one of my kids always waits weeks for their package. I probably wont sign them up for an exchange for awhile. My daughter doesnt understand why her brother received his, and nothing for her. Yes, patience right. I know Im suppose to teach my daughter patience. See thats what another DISer told me on another post, when we waited awhile for a exchange to get to them.
I understand life, we have kids, we have jobs, we have illness,life just gets in the way. I get it!
I just think when somebody has a kids name, it should be a priority. All through their little lives, they have to have patience,so they know what it is.
Sorry, bash me all you want for my post.

Well, I am still waiting, my DD waited a long time for her lotion and she was fine, something happend to her package and she was ok. My DD11 got her candy first and my other DD waited another week for hers, she was fine, didn't even asked, she knew it was coming and was to busy doing other things. I am sorry you and your DD feel that way about the waiting. Some of us get them first because packages come from all over the country.

I send the package to your DD prioroty mail with delivery confirmation, paid more for the service, I could have send it regular slow mail, but because I DO CARE i didn't, we are not to send it priority, some of us do, some don't and no biggie. Well, if you don't like to wait you should sing for the exchanges then, to me is the fun of them, waiting for ours, reading about them.
Kids or Adult everybody is a priority, we just have to be cool and have fun!

My Daughter does not ask about it everyday. Her brother has been kind enough to share all his goodies with her. Since that is dwindling quickly, she has asked about her box.Actually she hasnt asked in a couple of days. I suspect once her brothers candy is officially gone she will.
Do my kids mind waiting? Well it probably bothers me,more then them, because they ask me about it. They are with me when we shop for the names we have , they play a big role in picking out the stuff as well.. They are with me when we go to the postoffice to mail them out. I always try to have mine out before the send out date, or on the send out date the latest.But, thats just me.
