Candy Cauldron - prize for difficult??

I happened to catch a little snippet of conversation as my son was walking through the teleporter at the start of the maze. VMK Staff there (Annie perhaps) was saying that the candy cauldron was the prize for the difficult maze (pretty sure that is what she said...) Anyone else hear this? As soon as I get in (about 30 more ppl) I am going to ask her about the prizes. I'm not going to even bother with these mazes if the prizes are credits and a cauldron...

What has anyone else heard?
