Candy...carry on or checked?

We just got a mound of candy at MNSSHP. Last year we checked it in our luggage and it got a bit melty. Can I carry it onto the plane?

You can carry it on. If it's a separate bag, it would count as your personal item.

As long as its not a liquid TSA will have no problem with it.

Be sure to bring enough for everybody on the plane.
