Candy around the World

When we lived in Germany my husband and son fell in love with the Milka chocolate bars. They come in all kinds of flavors and are available at the Germany pavillion. Also, my best friend is English, and they have some really good chocolate. She made a basket for us one Christmas. Inside was a chocolate orange. If they have that at the U.K. pavillion that would be a good choice. She is a Cadbury girl. I just wish they sold Yorkie chocolate bars there at Epcot. I've never seen them and even asked the folks that work there. They have a funny slogan, "Not for girls!"

The Publix on 27, just two miles south of 192, has a huge English food section because of all the British who have vacation homes in that area, and they sell Yorkie bars, and all the other English chocolates, too.

Have to admit I'm a little disappointed, was looking forward to trying new candy. We have several international markets here and they sell everything you've mentioned, yes they do have white rabbit back in. Oh well I guess I'll have to make up for it in the pastry shop in France.

the canadian pavillion sells coffee crisp bars and i believe maple candy....or i may be imagining that one! lol

i think the uk pavillion sells all cadbury chocolates/bars.

:worship: I hope they truely do have maple candy at the Canadian pavillion. That is my favorite candy but very hard to find.

That is an awesome idea. I'm going to "cheat" and copy your idea for my trip in October. I was trying to think of things I could get for the gang at work and now I think I'll make up a basket of goodies from around the World Showcase.

That's a GREAT idea! But this means you have to try ALL the candy before you give it to your coworkers. Just to make sure it's ok! :rotfl2:

Really, a cookie, but good enough to be candy is the caramel digestive in the UK. It is a think graham style cracker covered with caramel and then chocolate--so good with a cup of tea.
