Candy around the World in Epcot

Not sure what it was called, but we tried some candy made from rice (I think) or maybe just the paper wrapper was made from rice, but anyways.....you eat the wrapper and all....a different concept for my kids, but they thought it was so cool and enjoyed sharing samples with their friends when we returned home.

I love the Curly Wurly candy bar from the UK.

Depending on your age, you may remember it as the Marathon Bar when is was available here in the US.

So many great choices for candy around the World Showcase. In Japan my fav are the Milky brand soft taffy chews. They taste like sweet milk...Yum!

We are looking for a fun project for my DD (6) to do for school while we are at WDW. Can you share what your candy project involves?

We just made her a passport for the countries, and we're going to try some candy from each country and make sure we get pictures for her to share with her class. Also, we're going to try to find a few cheaper candies that we can get enough of for her to share with her class.

I don't know if you can find them at Epcot (I usually buy these online), but if you can find any of the Japanese KitKats... They do way more flavors over there, including Soy Sauce and Wasabi. I've bought Sweet Potato before (and couldn't keep the rest of the family out of them!) and Raspberry, Bitter Chocolate, Almond, and Blueberry.

Did you say Marathon bars????? The kind that were braided caramel with chocolate on the outside? I LOVE THEM :lovestruc! It brings back summers around the community pool eating frozen Marathon bars.....and taking trips to the orthodontist to put those pesky braces back in place. I will be looking for the swirly twirly curly candy in UK :cheer2:! Oooh....I can't wait :goodvibes!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I wish! I just got back from Tokyo and have Wasabi and Annin Dofu. I skipped the soy sauce, but was trying to find milk tea flavor and any other unusual flavors.

I'd TOTALLY say Aero chocolate from Canada and Kinder chocolate from Germany.

IDK if it's sold in the Germany pavilion or not, but Kinder also makes Kinder Eggs, which are awesome milk chocolate layered in white chocolate with a little toy on the inside.

I grew up loving those when my Mom brought them home from germany :lovestruc
