Candlelight's Now 2 Table Service Credits

We did the CP with dining last year Christmas Eve. I think if you line up for 1 to 2 hours before, and depending on the night you might get seats. I think it is Totally worth the 2TS...especially when you think of the others that are 2TS. It really is magical, and my whole family ages 2 and up loved it! Having the dinner first, and walking right in was so nice!!

Hope this helps!

I dunno, I think I'm the only person that didn't enjoy Candelight Processional. I was glad I saw it once when it was 1 TS but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again and defintiely not for 2 TS!

The problem with this argument is they're not charging for the Christmas story. You do have the option of seeing the show without doing the dinner package. Anyone can go to the theater, get a seat and listen to the story, if they go early enough. If the seating fills up, you can stand at the theater, see the show and hear the story. What they're charging for is the opportunity to make the whole thing easier. I agree, they're seeing what the market will bear. If no one books the packages, then they might change back. But I think the packages will book up. Maybe not as fast as they did last year, but I think they'll still book up. Plenty of posters are stating that they will pay the $60 plus or two TS credits for really nothing much more than reserved seating for the show, as you could also just make a reservation for the restaurant of your choice without the package and probably pay less per person.

Correct me if I’m wrong…..The dining package line forms toward France and the standby line forms toward Mexico. Only after the dining package line is completely seated, they open the gate to standbys. So in essence, the only “free” seats are the seats that Disney couldn’t sell for 2TS credits.

Would you be OK with Disney linking other popular show seats to2TS credits? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for Disney making a good profit. The old business lesson comes to mind…..Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered. I worry Disney’s greed will hurt them in the long run.

I agree with the greed concept here and the fact that they extended free dining into December which is unprecedented. Last year - it was a deal at 1 TS and we got the appetizer, entree, and dessert since it was the CP package. If they hadn't offered free dining this year, I think they would have kept it at one TS. They must have had a lot of uptake on the free dining and now I'm beginning to worry about crowds. This year I am taking my sis and her family and I would have loved to do the CP as a family for one TS. Now - we'll be eating at Tutto or Le Cellier but we'll be doing the show standby.

This CP package has me soooo confused. I keep reading conflicting info. I have read several posts of people booking online. Does anyone know for sure...yes or no for online booking?
