:cloud9: I am sitting here listening to Radio Buena Vista on Live 365 and they are playing the Candlelight Processional this hour, and it is moving me to tears!! Lou Gosset Jr. is narrating, and the music is so BEAUTIFUL! :cloud9:

I love the Christmas story anyways, and I have been known to cry during Christmas Eve services. I have always wanted to go to the CP, but next year WE ARE GOING!! :goodvibes

How is it in person? I'm thinking I will need a LOT of tissues, since I am sitting here in front of a computer getting all teary....

We tried so hard to get into this show last Saturday and it was so full that even after being in line for over an hour we did not get in!

We could see and hear some of it and it looked wonderful! I would suggest getting the CP dinner package to assure that you can get into the show.

We tried to get a package but they were all booked too!

we just got back and went to the show on our first night 12/19. it was amazing. we got the dinner package with rose & crown included and showed up about 20-30 minutes before the show. the line for the reserved section was already entering and we were a little far back (out of the covered area). there were alot of families there who had kids in the show and they had alot of the front sections.

lou diamond phillips did the narrating and he was amazing and gorgeous as always.

They sell a CD of the CP in most of the WDW shops...usually up by the register. It has Felicia Rashad narrating - I've heard she's one of the best.

We saw it last month - it gave me goosebumps. I'm a Christian and the story has a special meaning to me - although I believe persons of all faiths will find it beautiful....

I had wanted for years to see this show and we finally went this year we saw Eartha Kitt she was wonderful. She really got into telling the story you could feel the emotion. We also had booked the dinner package to assure we had a seat. Very moving and beautiful. take your tissues

We were there on the 19th and it was Marlee Matlin narrating, not Lou diamond Phillips. He started on the 21st. She did the performance in American Sign Language and it was so beautiful to watch

Actually, Lou diamond philips was the narrator Dec. 13th-15th. (I performed in the 5:00 show on the 15th, and he did a great job! :wizard: )

Princess Jana,

thanks for the correction.....I guess we all got it wrong....( she says sheepishly, LOL) All I know is that the Candlelight Processional is the most amazing show and I consider myself lucky to have gotten one of the last Packages they had. We had a wonderful dinner at Alfredos, we got on line early and had superb seats (right in front of the stage about 5 rows back) and sat there in AWE of the spectacle. How lucky you are to be a part of the choir. I am a bit jealous.....

Linda

You're welcome, and yes, this was my second year in the CP and it is amazing to be a part of! I am very lucky to live in Florida and have my high school chorus be involved in this...my friends and I had an incredible time. :goodvibes We are definitely looking foward to next year! :Pinkbounc

We love watching CP each year. Marlie Matlins performance is one of the better ones we think. One year they had one of the local deaf schools up in the front rows to watch it. It was great to see their faces when the narrator actually talked to them.
