We are going home for the first time at the holidays! We will be staying from the 17th of Dec through the morning of the 23rd at BWV. I really want to see the holiday shows and parades. I read somewhere that it is difficult to get seating for the candlelight processional without booking a PS with one of the resturants. Can any of you share your experiences with this? I want to have one or two nice, read that sit down, meals while we are there but I had hoped to do those at other times. Should I try and book a resturant to be on the safe side and gaurentee one viewing of the processional? I had hoped that staying at BWV we might be able to walk over to epcot and see this more than once. I want to have a relaxed time and I am trying not to overplan, but now I am second guessing myself.

Hello - I have attended the Candlelight Processional both with and without the dinner package. To attend without the dinner package I needed to wait in line over an hour prior to entry. Even with the long wait I was probably #100 in line. So....either prepare for a long wait or buy a dinner package. Frankly, I like most of the restruaunts in Epcot, and I would have no trouble buying a dinner package again. Enjoy! Sandie

The first show of the evening (5 pm) seems to be the least popular (relatively speaking), so that might be your best chance to see it without a long wait.

I've never done the CP but have decided to try it this year. I'm not one to stand in line for an hour just to maybe get a seat, so I did book a dinner package. We made reservations to see the 5 pm show and a 7 pm dinner at the Rose & Crown. I read a lot of complaints on this board about seeing the show after dinner and how a lot of people ended up rushing around, so I decided to do the show first. The CP sounds like it's not to be missed, so I'd rather not take any chances. Dinner at Epcot is a must for us anyway!

We LOVE the processional. I would definitely get the package because it is worth sitting where you want without a long wait. Also we love the dinner. We are always on a budget and it is a treat to get everything we want for dinner. You can sit in the liberty food court and hear the music but you cannot see because of the throngs of people standing. We will be there Christmas Day!!:Pinkbounc

We also made CP Dinner reservations. I would rather not wait in line for a seat that may or may not be there.

We had PS reservations at LeCeller anyway.

We also opted to see the show first and then have dinner afterwards. In fact, we work it right we will see CP, have a nice dinner, and then do Illuminations. Should make for a very nice evening.
