Candlelight Processional

Will be at BCV December 10th-15th. Is it possible to see the Candlelight Processional without the dinner package. I hate to spend the extra money, but would be heartbroken if I didn't get to see the show.

If you go on a weeknight, you should be able to get in by getting in the standby line 30 to 45 minutes before.

It has been our experience that with the CP package deal and the priority seating for the show, we get in line about 30 to 45 minutes prior to the show. We have seen many times that the people in stand-by did not get to see the show. I would say that if you have your heart set on seeing it and don't want to pay for the dinner/priority seating, you should probably get in the stand-by line at least 1 hour prior to showtime. The stand-by line is (when facing the stage) the line to the right.

Good luck and it is so worth whatever you have to do to see it!

PS we are pretty frugal and we do the package every year. It gives us an excuse to have a great dinner with all the goodies and great seats for the CP.

It would be horrible to get your heart broken at WDW. Maybe you should consider looking into one of the cheaper packages, maybe Restaurant Akershus or Biergarten. We have always been at the first of Dec. until this year, and it seems to become more popular each year. Just a thought!

The buffets & family service restaurants have the same menu. At the sit-down restaurants your meal consists of soup, salad, or appetizer, entree & dessert from the menu. Lobster is not included at LC or CR. All packages include a non-alcoholic beverage & gratuity, but not the 6.5% tax. Just to put my two cents in. If at all possible, try the dinner package. You'll have a wonderful meal and great seats for the show. It makes it such an awesome evening. I would not worry about the special menus at some of the restaurants either. The menu that you have to choose from is still pretty extensive. We ate at LeCellier with the CP package and it was the best meal I've eaten in all of WDW.

Have only purchased the dinner package once - and actually found it to be a hassle. We had dinner that year at the Coral Reef and really had to rush to make ouor PS only to stand there another 45 minutes. Since then we don't buy the package and have never had a problem during the week the time you are going if you don't mind standing in line 30-45 minutes ahead of time. Seems the closer it gets to Christmas the more packages they sell which means less seating for stand bys. I would try the first show. Enjoy.

From our experience, if you do the dinner package (which we recommend) plan enough time to enjoy dinner and walk to the show. World Showcase tends to be very crowded at this time. Plan to get in line at the American Garden Theater at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the show — or you may be disappointed in your seat location. We have done the earlier show and then had dinner later, which I prefer (but with a two year old we won’t be doing this year!). We like to see the middle show (it may not be dark for the first show) and then have dinner just before IllumiNations. The program is wonderful and in our opinion a must do for Christmas – in fact it's what Christmas is all about!

I just setup our CP Dinner Package.

When you select your package, you decide which show to do. We selected the early show and then will have dinner after. This will avoid having to rush dinner to go stand in another line.

I am looking forward to dinner at LeCeller. It don't think the price of the package is bad, considering the selections of dinner items you can choose from.

You can't beat the "reserved" seats.
