Tell me about this!

Never been to WDW in December. This is at Epcot? Do you need a reservation for it?

2. Yes.

3. No, but it can certainly HELP to have a CP Dining Pkg. (which includes priority seating,)
especially for popular narrators.

It is a reading of the Christmas story from the Bible with a choir singing traditional Christmas carols. It's very moving and a reminder of the reason for the season.

You do not necessarily need a reservation. It's free to those with park entrance. However, it is very popular and depending on the narrator, extremely popular.

There are shows each evening at 5:00, 6:45, and 8:15. The line to get into the open air seating usually starts to form around 3:00, but for some narrators, it will start as soon as WS opens.

You can get a Candlelight Processional Dinner Pkg that will guarantee you a seat, but you still need to line up about 45 min before your time.

You can also hear and see some just by standing on the walkway behind the theater or sitting at one of the outside tables of Liberty Inn QS dining place.

We have done the candlelight dinner package several times and have never gotten in the dinner package line any earlier than 20 minutes before show time - just before they start admitting that line.
We saw the CP the first time without the dinner package and stood on the walkway. The performance lasts about 45 minutes - too long for us to be standing in one spot. After that, we have always gotten a dinner package.
With all the people standing outside, you will only be able to hear - not see - from those tables outside the liberty inn.
If you should choose to get the dinner package, the time of your meal will determine which show you see. For the 5:00pm show: Lunch meals will be from 1:45-2:45pm. For the 6:45pm show: Dinner meals will be from 3:30-4:30pm. For the 8:15pm show: Dinner meals will be from 5:00-6:00pm.

You must have been lucky.

These things can all depend on the date, which performance, and the popularity of the narrator.

In general, at WDW, it's better to arrive "far too early" than to arrive "one minute too late."
This is getting even more true as time goes by.

I have to say this was one of the best Christmas productions I have ever seen. It is truly remarkable and not to be missed in my opinion!

I LOVE the fact that Disney still keeps the true meaning of Christmas alive.

When we went in 2009, it was the 2nd show I think the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We didn't have the dinner package so we waited. We got in line around 45min to 1hr before showtime and our seats were in the back but good. It's not really a visual show. More just close your eyes and listen:cloud9:
