Candlelight Processional

I called earlier this afternoon & the CM had me very excited as she thought that she had seen something where they would be released very soon. At first she told me that she had the tentative list of narrators for Christmas Day. I was so excited & I told her that I had seen the same celebrity last Christmas Day--John Stamos. It turns out she was looking at 2005!

Called this morning (5/30 @ 10am) and am getting mid-August still. The CM was very nice and apologetic, but the only information that she said they have received so far is mid-August. She also suggested keeping an eye out on the "official" site for more information.

At least the answers now are the same!

Keep you're eyes on the site...what a joke. The character dining at MGM still isn't listed yet on there.

Subscribing, we have done this the past two years in a row and it is now a holiday tradition.

Subscribing - I am hoping to get a package for Le Cellier but I know it's hard when there are only 2 in the party.

I booked all my ADR's this am....when I asked about the CP the CM told me to book Lecellier anyways and then call when the packages were released and cancel it and immediately rebook the package. So I did for 4:30 on the 28 November.
We'll see if it works. Take Care Kathy

I would think it would be easier to get a table for 2, than a table for 5.

I'm trying to switch my ADR time for 11/24 at Le Cellier. The only thing currently available is 2 tables 30 minutes apart! Looks like I'll be keeping my 8:30 ADRs.

Kathy, we are at POFQ the same time as you. We arrive on 27th November to 5th December, but go to MVMCP on the 30th November.

I made my ADR's this am too and booked Le Chefs de France for 5pm, the time I want for the package. Hope I can book it as a package when they come out!

Actually, depending on some of the restaurants, it's alot harder. Especially at Le Cellier, where they have a limited amount of tables for parties of 1 or 2 people.

cancel it and immediately rebook the package.

I'd strongly suggest booking the CP dinner package first, then when you know everything is locked in, then cancel your adr. Better safe than sorry.

That's what I meant oops!

Thanks Terk... I just "presumed" it would be easier...goodness knows I had some trouble getting tables for 5 for my ADRs.

I've had issues getting a table for 2 at Le Cellier... they won't let you have a 4-top, and there aren't many little tables.

I would guess 3 or 4 is probably the easiest party to get a table for.

I checked this morning when I was scheduling dining for August. CM said mid-August.

I had a phone message on my machine from Disney and they said they would be calling me back about the email that I wrote two weeks ago. No info about anything I wrote in the email just that they were interested in speaking with me.

Does anyone know which of the restaurants are the most popular? It seems from responses here that a lot of people are looking for Le Cellier. I am thinking of Teppanyaki or Biergarten, hopefully for Christmas Day.

Wow - I haven't posted a message on the DIS since October, when I had to break myself of the addiction I had to this place! Slowly I started to read the boards again as a resource, but I've been able to keep from posting. But now that it's six months (and a couple of weeks) until we go for all the wonderful Christmas festivities at the World, I figured it's time to jump back in! But I'm going to try to limit myself to only the appropriate boards and threads.

Anyway - thanks to everyone for all the research you've been doing about CP. We've never been, as we've only been to WDW at Christmas once before, and it was only a three-day trip, and it was only our second trip so we still didn't know what we were doing! We'll definitely be going this time, and I am pretty sure we'll get the package, since we don't eat at TS almost at all usually, so this is a good excuse for one nice meal of the week.

Off to post on the MVMCP thread...

Ok, so, we're taking a very short trip in December. MVMCP one night, CP one night, and a private event one night. I'd love to see the Osborne lights, but I'm not sure if I can fit it in before the 8:15 CP.

What time do I need to be in line by to be sure I'll get into the CP show?

I would even do the CP package if they would let me have dinner at like 4... then we could go to MGM afterwards for the lights and come back for CP. But I don't know if they let you have 4 pm dinner with the 8:15 show.

I'm pretty sure you can book your dinner any time you want, we always book early so that we have time to do other stuff before the late CP. (as long as there is availablity)

That way you can catch the boat to MGM from International Gateway and have lots of time.
