Candlelight Processional

I had a phone message on my machine from Disney and they said they would be calling me back about the email that I wrote two weeks ago. No info about anything I wrote in the email just that they were interested in speaking with me.

Very cool! Keep us posted... :bored:

I'm pretty sure you can book your dinner any time you want, we always book early so that we have time to do other stuff before the late CP. (as long as there is availablity)

That way you can catch the boat to MGM from International Gateway and have lots of time.

Thanks for the info... that's exactly what we'd like to do! I thought maybe they would only have certain dinner slots available for each showtime.

They called me again today, but left a phone number so I will contact them Monday. They are only there M-F. I will post what I learn. It will be later in the day if I get someone since I have to work in the am for 1/2 day...may not be till Tuesday, but I will post the info I receive.

Do us all a favor and beg them to release early. I just think it is foolish of them not to. If they don't, we will all make regular ADRs waiting for the packages. They will be telling people who call in for regular ADRs that they're all booked. Then when the packages are released in August, we will all cancel our ADRs and all of those people will have missed out.

I'll give it the ole college try. I just want the right answer, but now I think mid August is it, but I'll express the insane nature of that.

Can't wait to hear what they have to say!

It's Sunday, June 4th @ 4pm and just called Disney dining. Nothing for the CP dinner packages yet, although the CM commented that she hoped it would be soon, as they have been receiving an increasing number of calls lately in regards to this.

I would even do the CP package if they would let me have dinner at like 4... then we could go to MGM afterwards for the lights and come back for CP. But I don't know if they let you have 4 pm dinner with the 8:15 show.

I think you'll be able to get an ADR around 4pm (if they're open) for an 8:15 CP. It's the ones who want to cut it close who have a hard time getting the ADR they want.

Also increasing number of calls due to the fact that the 180 day rule for ADRs is kicking in for loads of people. WDW sure didn't think this one through. I sure hope I can get through tomorrow to the person who left a message.

I also called this morning and again asked the same question. And yet again I got the same answer, probably not till mid-August. I told the CM that I would be calling on Tuesday to make all my ADR'S for that week and that it sure would be nice if we could also book the CP package then. I sure hope it's soon. There's sure going to be alot of canceling and rebooking going on.

This is why I believe the Disney will release them soon. If they don't, it will be almost impossible for anyone who is not doing the CP to get an ADR because Disney will be holding tables for the packages and we will have the ADRs booked waiting for the packages. It just doesn't make sense to not release the packages. As for the speakers, I know the day I want to go to the CP and I will be doing it that day regardless of who the speaker is. I would think that for most people, it will be the same.

I'm in the same boat. I have a day chosen, regardless of the speaker. Here's to hoping that they release the CP packages soon! :teeth:

I agree. I think by not releasing the packages Disney will just be in for a bigger headache come August. It doesn't seem to make sense to me either.

Me too...We have 1 night to do CP...our last night. So regardless of who the speaker is, we will be there.

I'm with you all. I know I want to do it on Christmas, eating at Alfredos no matter who the speaker is. If we can't get Christmas I will have to go for 12/23, which then means I will have to change my PS for that day to another day...and then that one...and so on. :confused3

Personally, I think 180 days for regualar PSs is too far in advance, and I should add I am a compulsive planner. ;) If they are going to make us arrange our dining 6 months in advance, they could at least give ALL the options then.

I agree. I'm a compulsive planner as well. My ADRs are all booked, my park days are all scheduled, and now ....WAITING. Waiting for CP and waiting for November codes....I'm not very good at waiting!

Seems like this trip is SOOOOO far off and yet everything is done!

Me too. I have all my ADR's booked. Have updated by Passporter with what parks I want to do on each day, what the park hours are, when the parades, fireworks, etc. are scheduled for and so on.Just need to finish paying off the trip, book my Candlelight Processional dinner packages (want to do 2 this trip with 2 different speakers), book my Segway tour and wait for Southwest to open up for the end of November and beginning of December and I'm good to go.

Well we picked Monday December 4 for Alfredo's for the CP. We really don't care who the speaker is either, we just want to go. We love this show. I'm calling tomorrow for all my ADR"S and I'll be asking again. I hope they open these packages soon. I really think it's going to be a mess if they don't do it soon.

Michele

Nothing regarding my call today to WDW. Left a message, but no retun call. I will keep after it tomorrow.
