This is pretty frustrating. I just wish they would come out with the packages so we can get settled and know what we're doing. This is the last thiing that we have to do on our itinerary. I'm not even concerned about who the speaker is at this point as long as we get the dinner package. I know I would still get to see it without the package, I would just rather have it.

Us as well...doesn't matter who the speaker is ....we are going!

Called today and as the CM was working out what I wanted, he said that a screen popped up stating that the packages would not be available for booking until August 5th.

Called again to make sure about this and that CM said nothing will be available until mid-late August.

Tried one more time and this CM said it would be next week. She also said that they will be starting this 2 weeks prior to the day after Thanksgiving (which is usually when this starts) and possibly doing it through the first week of January. She said that this is what is taking so long to open the dinner packages up, as they have more narrators than usual to confirm.

Thanks for the info. I called twice yesterday about dining ADRs and changing out check out date and both said mid-late August.

Thanks for the info especially concerning the possibility of the CP running into Jan. It usually finishes on December 30.

When I asked about that, she was not sure, as they are still trying to finalize everything. Possibly, since they allowed it last year, but not 100% positive.

At what time do Dining Reservations phone lines open , meaning when should I start calling?

Reservations open at 7:00 EST.

I called this morning and was told mid-August.

Called this morning - nothing yet. Called at 7:20EST, was on hold for 17 minutes, had me thinking it was a go...but not yet.

Will call bright and early tomorrow.

Do these reservations sell out fast? I mean is it very important to call the first morning they are released?

Also when you make a reservation do they take your credit card info and you pay for it right then?
