Candlelight Processional

I'll be right behind you in the calling!! I never trust what they say anyway, but I would think once they release the Food and Wine, they would do this next so that's what I'm going to watch for as well and the announcement of the speakers.

Just wanted to share what I read in another CP thread.

Someone called and was told July 31 and that they are holding the release because they are still working on which restaurants will be 1 TS credit and which will be 2 TS credits and of course, setting up the speakers.

Who knows if this is true but I thought I'd share it. :goodvibes

That's interesting about the 1 TS/ 2 TS.

If they make some of them 2 TS, we may have to pick a different restaurant.

Yeah, but who knows if its really true though. I don't know but aren't most of the World Showcase restaurants 1 TS credit anyway so I don't see why they'd be more credits for the CP package.

We'll know soon enough though (probably by August).

Yes, all the Epcot restaurants are now 1 TS.

Probably what the CM was saying is that they had to determine which would be Tier 1, 2, & 3 for the CP purposes. The packages have different prices based on the Tier. I have never been to WDW at Christmas and therefore have never been to CP, but I found this information for last year.

I made a couple of ADR's this morning and the cast member mentioned the CP, I asked when they were opening up the CP packages and she said not until August. I asked if she know if you already had an ADR if you could convert it to a CP package. She said yes but I won't hold my breath on that until I see it in writting.

I called today and made my ADR for Dec 17-29th trip. Just out of curiosity, I asked if CP was open for booking yet. She laughed and said that seems to be everyone's question. She said that the packages will not be available until August, but that she expected this to change next year because of the number of unhappy guests who have voiced their opinions. She also said that a lot of seating is being held from booking to be used for the packages and that she was confident that if I call the morning they open, I will not have a problem getting the restaurant and time I want. I of course booked a regular ADR just in case.

I did see posted on another thread that someone was told by a CM that CP packages will be released 8.26.06. Don't know if it is true, but it goes along with all the cm's telling us August. anyone else hear that exact date?

Hi all!! Quick question for those of you more "in the know" than I. I have been to WDW in December but cannot remember if they offer the Candlelight Processional EVERY single night :confused3 . We may have to go to the Candlelight Processional the evening of the "late magic hours". Does anybody know if it is usually offered that night also? Thanks so much for your help, I cannot wait to see who the celebrity narrators are this year! I saw Haley Joel Asmont last year and he was GREAT! :thumbsup2 :) THANKS AGAIN!

Yes, they offer the CP every night 3 times per night. The only exception is that maybe one night, I think, it's possible that it will only be offered one or two times, because of some private performance. That's all I know of though.

I called to make my ADRs this morning and asked the CM when the CP packages would be available and she said they don't know yet but hopefully soon. So it seems everyone is getting a different answer.

 Hi all!
Just saw over on the DDP board someone had another CM tell them that 7/31 is the date for CP package release.

I hope it's true!! :thumbsup2

hmmm...seems odd that's it's the same date as the Food and Wine ressies though.

So do you think this might not be true? Meaning the 7/31 date is ressies for Food and Wine and not the CP. Do we have to wait until later in August to make those ressies for CP?

We have to wait until the packages are released, that's for certain. At this point, nobody has a firm date on exactly what the date will be, but there is plenty of speculation!

Has anyone seen anything listing which restaurants would be available for the packages and what the prices for the different tiers are?

Just subscribing mostly.
This would be our first time doing the CP (or any Epcot World Showcase restaurants. Any recommendations on restaurants? Which is closest?
Thanks.

I believe that if the speakers aren't announced then the packages won't be released until then. I've heard the 7/31 date before, but even the lady in guest services gave me that date and then realized it was for Food and Wine.
