I'm taking my wife and kids (6 and 8) to Disneyland for the first time in December and I'm determined to see part of the candlelight processional.
The challenge is that, while we'll be there most of the week, we'll arrive about 3pm at the earliest (but more like 4pm) on the Sunday of the processional. So I need some advice on how to get some standing spots without waiting all day.
I read a tip online to enter the park after the processional has gathered at the front once the main show starts, and you can grab a standing spot on that side as the cast members shift traffic.
Do you think that would actually work? If we got there earlier, could we watch the processional go down main st closer to the castle then exit the park and re-enter to do that? Or do you have other advice on how to see it without being able to camp out all day?
Thanks!
