I want to do the CPP because I want a ticket guaranteeing me a seat its going to be Christmas eve and the line is gonna be Outrageously long I know, I also want to have a lower tier seat so here are my choices for Tier 3 seating:

Chefs de France - France Pavilion
Tutto Italia - Italy Pavilion
Le Cellier Steakhouse - Canada Pavilion
Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining - Japan Pavilion
Coral Reef - The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion

which one is everyones favorite and least favorite?

I would review the menus and eat wherever suits you and your party best. We are planning to book a "Tier 3" meal for the CP in December and have decided to try for Le Cellier (at lunch) because DH loves steak and if are paying for a package the includes dessert---it would be silly to go somewhere that has nothing that appeals to me (i.e. San Angel Inn in Mexico---love the main course selections, didn't ever like the dessert out of 3 meals).

If it were me, I'd go with Tutto or Le Cellier---but for you, I'd go with whatever floats your boat! :thumbsup2

The "tiers" refer to the relative cost of the restaurant, NOT where you will sit. The front half or so of the theater is "reserved" for dining package guests until about 30 minutes before the show when they allow stand bys in. No matter which tier restaurant you dine at, you all get in the same line for CCP seating. Also, a portion of that front section is often reserved for people associated with the guest choir of the day, so it's roped off.

To get your pick of seats, you must be toward the front of the dining package line. Toward the back of the line you will get in, just have less seating to pick from. We did two CPP lunch packages last year, and still got in the dining package line two hours before the 5:00pm show when they started the lineup, though the CMs there said 1-1.5 hours is usually fine to still get toward the front of the theater.

Lunch, BTW, was less than the dinner packages if paying OOP, but I really didn't like eating my big meal of the day that early. It was our only option for the 5pm show, as we wanted that to see a relative sing in the CM choir. We were on the DDP, so a tier 1,2, or 3 restaurant was still just one DDP credit. Did have to leave a CC# though, 48 hour canel policy.

That's what I was going to say - which tier and how much you pay for dinner has nothing to do with where your seat is! It's all very democratic if you're on the package - first in line, first in the theatre, first choice of seats.

That said -- we really loved Tutto Italia in December. We've been to Le Cellier as well (not for CP package) and enjoyed Tutto more. Both are fine choices, though.

Can't speak to the others - although I did go to Coral Reef about 12 years ago - we didn't like it that much, but that was a long time ago!

Also, we were there on 12/22/08 for the 8:15 package. We got in line around 7:30 and had great seats about 1/2 way back, right in the middle of the theatre.

Oh okay I wasn't aware that it had nothing to do with the seating! Well thats good to know then that I have even more choices.(not good for my overloaded brain though :rotfl: ) I actually had it narrowed down to Le Cellier and Tutto so its funny that two responses said those two as the tops
