Maybe it's late, but I'm not quite grasping your question entirely. So anyway, I'll try to give you as much info as I can.

You can cancel the CP package but you'll lose your dinner reservation that's tied to it. Meaning, no early entry to CP.

You can't book a CP package without having a dinner tied to it. You need to pick a restaurant before your CP purchase is complete.

There is no Fast Pass for the CP. There are two lines to enter the arena. One for the general public and one for the people who purchased the package and just got out from lunch or dinner.

The only way to be guaranteed a seat for the show is to have purchased the CP package. Otherwise you may get a seat or you may not.
