Candlelight Processional Narrators

It looks like narrators have been selected for every day of the season, except for the dates that I will be in Epcot. What does that mean? Should I prepare myself for a totally unknown actor?

What's there to prepare? No matter who you get, the narration is the smaller part of the performance. Unless someone really bungles the narration, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I can see where OP is coming from--I'm only doing the CP because NPH is going to be doing it while I'm there anyway. I thought they had announced the narrators for the whole season though...

It would be nice to know. I have the 5th booked and also the 7th. I had been waiting to see who the narrators would be. I'm definitely looking forward to Edward James Olmos on the 5th but don't want to make the final decision until I know for sure who is doing the 7th. If both are equally awesome we'll likely keep both.

I think the narration (and the engagement and style of the person giving it) is a big part of the enjoyment of the event. We've been in the past where we had some awesome narrators and a couple that weren't as good (felt like they were just reading a script and going through the motions.) In the cases where both the narration and the music is working together it really does make it extra special.

I don't think you'll get a totally unknown actor, but I do agree that some narrators are better than others. We tend to find that actors do a better job of making the script their own than do other celebrities. Honestly, though, the CP is worth catching at least once a season no matter the narrator. It's a great show. Good luck!

Edward James Olmos is amazing! I'm said we are leaving just before he is scheduled.
