Question...

How long does the Candlelight Processional last? Will it still be going on when Illuminations starts?

I was planning to do the last performance of CP, but wouldn't want it to be ruined by the competing sounds/music from Illuminations. Disney has surely thought of this so I am probably worrying for nothing. True?

True. :teeth:

The Candlelight Processional lasts about an hour, but Illuminations is getting pushed back to 9:30pm once the CP starts on Nov 24th.

Nothing to worry about! Enjoy! :thumbsup2

Yep, Disney schedules the major entertainment so it doesn't overlap at all. The last Processional will be over before Illuminations starts.

Ok, this is a basic question but we're going during this event for the first time this December. Does this show take place all within the American Gardens Theater? Is the show/dinner package really that important due to long lines to get in? It seems a bit pricey given what we usually spend at those restaurants given it doesn't include alcoholic beverages. How long can we expect to wait to get into the theater w/o the package? Is the show worth it anyway?

Thanks,

It's all within the American Gardens Theater. We didn't do the dinner package and got very good seats. You won't be in the front section under cover but just about every seat is a good one. We sat over in the outdoor seating area for the Liberty Inn and just waited until the stand bys were starting to go in. Then we joined the moving line and got the seats. We thought the show was OK and our presenter was Gary Sinise which is why we wanted to go in the first place. Not sure I'd repeat it but that's just me. If you can, go by one night while it's going on, judge for yourself (you can clearly hear it and see some of it outside the theatre), and then decide if you want to do the full performance.

Thanks for your response! I think we'll go with your plan. It seems to have been a mad dash for expensive dining packages anyway. We'll just eat in the restaurants on our time table.

Thanks again!
