Candlelight Processional--do dinner package or skip it?

ADR= Advanced Dining Reservation (I think) It's the new name for the old Priority Seating. Does that sound right to anybody else?

No prob. I sometimes find myself staring at the screen trying to decipher what the different abbreviations mean. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out MNNSHP= Mickey's Not So Scary Holloween Party and not some kind of mission ship or something.

We are really looking forward to the CP Dec. 2006. We have a 5 year old dd and she does very well at performances, but we have never waited more than 30 minutes in any line so that is the only thing that has be concerned. I'm sure she'll entertain just fine during the wait, but still a minor concern.

Yes, do the package! We went earlier in the season and had no wait to our prefered seating area. I enjoyed the great view and the entire show.

If you decide on the Package make sure you have an ADR # for the Show and one for the place you are going to eat at. You can see the show without a package as it is an open theater.

I went on Nov. 30th (I think) and the narrator was Phil Donohue. I had read about it on the boards, but I didn't plan on seeing it - I just happened upon it that night in EPCOT, strolled in the "stand by" entrance, and found a seat about 5 minutes before showtime.

I thought it was EXCELLENT. Unlike the previous poster who was disappointed with the choir music, I was THRILLED with the orchestra music. I loved the fanfare trumpets (six, count 'em 6!!!) they were awesome - this coming from a trumpet player

However, it was about a hour long, so I don't think I will subject my friends' 4 year old son to this show.

You pick a restaurant and you pick a showtime (5:00, 6:45, 8:15) if you want the package. There are no reservations for show only.

I see, I make one reservation for the restaurant and another for the time when I get the dinner package. Thanks. I guess the last showing (8:15) happens during Illuminations.

Candlelight processional is compossed of about 300 people from different choirs around the US. Most from FL and they sing choir music and then the narrator narrates the Christmas Story. It is a little religious but not that bad. But it is really beautiful. It to me was the best of all the Christmas shows going on. A really gets you in the Christmas Mood. The narrator we saw was John Stamos ( of General Hospital, Full House and Jake in Progress fame). But others that have been there were Jim Chaviezl(sp) ( Passion of the Christ), Lavar Burton ( Star Trek), Phil Donahue, Phylica Rashadd (sp)(Cosby Show), and a bunch of others. Not all these were from this past year but this is just to give you an idea.
