Candlelight Processional Dinner - Watching & Waiting

Hi!! Ok, I was on hold for exactly 35 minutes (got through at 7:05 in Louisiana) and I was able to book a table for 8 at Le Cellier December 12 3:30 lunch for the 6:45 show!

I was hoping for dinner for the 8:15 show, but she said due to my party size, it was not letting me get Chefs or Le Cellier. I still think 3:30 is great...now off to change my touring plans!!! :cool1:

its insane that people are still getting busy signals and are on hold.

Does everyone really think the illuminations viewing areas are is going to be by restaurant? I enjoyed the area last year. I met a few families from all over the world while waiting. I didnt ask my CM any questions, I wanted to make my ressie and free up the que as quick as possible.

Where was it last year? I have heard it could be really crowded, what did you think?

I finally got thru to a castmember around 9 am. I got my 1st choice Chefs De France on 12/17 for the 1st show. I want to see Thomas Gibson. I love the show Criminal Minds. So I was determined to get that date so I could see him.

I was soo thrilled that my date and restaurant choice was available. I've never eaten at Chefs De France so I am looking forward to it

Does anyone know if they send out some sort of printable receipt or anything? I have my # of course but I would LOVE if I could actually SEE it on the website or in an email confirmation or something!:confused3

Login to the online reservation system (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/)

If your reservation doesn't show up in your list, you can manually retrieve it with the confirmation number, and then either print it or email it to yourself.

I went on disneyworld.com clicked on retrieve my reservation. I typed in the res number and requested it to be emailed to me. Hope that helps:santa:

What's the latest dinner time you can get for the 8:15 show?

I think it's 6:00 pm.

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing the new plans on your TR! :)

Well after spending 90 minutes getting a busy signal, and another 30 minutes on hold, it was time for DVC member services to open. So, I called and got right through. Was able to get Tutto for Nov. 26 6:45 show.

You can go the Disney World website and retrieve your reservation using the confirmation number and the phone number you gave them.

Woohoo! Now I feel 100% about cancelling our backup le cellier reservation! Thanks for letting me know!

and now I just can't get through again, why can they not ring you back when they have taken all the details from you????

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I agree that they should call you back. I hope you get back through and get what you want.

You're welcome! :)

We were on hold for about 35 minutes, not to bad. Got reservation for Dec 11 at Chefs 'd France, love that escargot! Whoopie Goldberg the moderator that night. Eating at 4:00 for 6:45 show. Just getting off our Disney Cruise that morning so the timing is right for us! WooHoo, all our planning for the Food and Wine Festival and the cruise and Christmas is mostly done! Relaxation ahead!:woohoo:

I have a CP Dinner Package reservation at Tutto Italia (Tier 3) on December 10th and the price is $66.02. The CM told me that i pay that charge at the restaurant directly.

Started calling @ 0600 CST, got through at 0730 and waited for 30 minutes on hold. Got the restaurant (Le Cellier), the time (2015), and the date (12/17 our 17th wedding anniversary) that I wanted! Worth the wait? Definitely!

Where was it last year? I have heard it could be really crowded, what did you think?

It was right in the middle of t he two gift shops as you enter the WSC from FW. It wasnt too busy. We had a 4pm adr and by 9 we were starving again, so we grabbed a snack and grabbed a front row seat in the viewing area.

Whew! After over 90 minutes of redialing and 48 minutes of being on hold, I spoke with Colby-who was a very nice CM.

I got for my sisters-11/28 lunch at Le Cellier at 1:50pm, CP at 5:00pm, celeb speaker Isabella Rosselinni (sp?) and they are still offering the "special" seating for Illuminations.

I would have really liked to attend myself but with the 3 dudes I don't think they would appreciate it as much as I and I don't want to disrupt anyone else's viewing.

Good luck to those of you who haven't gotten through yet, it will happen!

Woot!

Was able to get LeCellier @5:15 for the 8:15 show on 12/19!

Couldn't get through and remembered that we are staying at the Poly Club! Called up the IPO and they were able to get the ressies :cool1:
