Candlelight Processional Dinner - Watching & Waiting

Judging by how Disney dropped the ball on the Dessert party reservations, the late announcements of promos, etc., it wouldn't surprise me if the PP's info that suggests mid August was true. The lack of communication and pushing dates back for promos and events has gotten out of hand. I'm hoping for the better that we'll actually know by the end of July...oh wait...it is the end of July...:confused3

I want my ressies too...So I can figure out whether or not I'll get the restaurant of my choice so I can plan my days accordingly. Good luck to all, I really hope we're not waiting much longer :rolleyes1

I really hope Disney gives a date soon. Sadly, I cant be on here or by my phone at 7am every morning to check. I need a date, so that I can make arrangements to have the time to be able to call.

Talked to Brian this morning. Still nothing, but he was very nice. He said they're still hearing end of the month, which he is realizes is pretty much here. He said that they're also being told that guests can check the website for an announcement when packages begin available.

Another tale of less than stellar magic. Just asked about booking a CPP and got the following response from "Gemini"

No we are not and we have NO idea when we will be booking that. Thank you for calling Disney. click

Good morning to me. TG tomorrow is Friday, huh? :)

My CM didn't even venture a guess as to when they would be released. Oh well, I guess I will be hiking up to the lodge every morning in West Virginia to make a phone call. Not exactly the most fun on a vacation.

Come on Disney, you have one more week before you make my life miserable!:cheer2:

I could defnitely hear in my CM's voice this morning that they are getting frustrated having to answer the same questions every morning too. He said "Probably the same answer you got yesterday..." Still, he was very courteous in his answer. :)

I have to make my call through the Grand Gathering number and I was hopeful this morning as the CM had to take a minute and check but alas NOTHING!:sad2:

I just got off the phone and still nothing, but at least the CM told me to have a good day.
A good day will be when I can complete my dining reservations with the Candlelight Pacakgepopcorn::

Wow. That's a bit...brusque. For any Customer Service agent, and especially for Disney! And they just hung up on you?! They should have at least asked if there was anything else they could help you with.

I'd just be happy knowing who was gong to be there Dec. 21-26 at this point, lol. We'd be very happy with Trace, but the night we could go for him is the day we're changing resorts to BCV from AKV. (the other 2 days would require us to buy park hoppers as I've already got stuff/adrs scheduled at two parks then). We're ok with that, but just would love to know the middle dates in case it night be easier and less hectic...

Sigh...it's really looking more and more like that CM that guess mid-August (because of the extra work hours being offered/over-time) may be correct. It's really the first logical reason stated by any CM.

This is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!! But then again what will I have to do once I get this reservation. I've got my ADR's, I've booked the desert party, now all I have to do is order our park tickets and our MVMCP tickets.

I hope you write a letter to Disney about her. That's ridiculous.

FWIW - DW called Dining today and the CM cited the delay is due to Celebrity Reader schedule uncertainty.

Actually believable IMO. :)
