Candlelight Processional Dinner--need advice

Hi guys!
3 days until I leave for the Kingdom.
I read where seating at the CP was difficult if we didn't have dinner reservations , so I made some at the Garden Grill, based on reviews.
I like the GG when eating off the menu, but the buffet style 'down home cooking' , esp all the carbs in stuffing, potatoes and gravy, leave me cold.
And the only fish I don't like is catfish! So, I changed our res to the Norway restaurant. No guys and no kids in our group. I've been to Norway and love the foods there....and my 3 gal friends will put up with me no matter what...
BUT, has anyone eaten there lately, cause I've heard both pos and neg reviews on this place and I've never eaten there before.

OH and BTW, since I couldn't get any MVMCP tickets on sold out Dec 10, I'm thinking of hitting Islands of Adventure instead of a short day at Disney since the parks close early Friday night due to MVMCP....OR do you think I should hook or crook try to find tickets to the MVMCP?

We got in last night on standby, getting in line about 15 minutes before. The theater holds alot of people.

It has been awhile since we've eaten at Restuarant Akershus. DH & DS loved it! I'm not a fan of buffets, so my opinion wouldn't count. I would think it would be better now, since you order the hot items from your server.

For your other question: Go to Islands of Adventure, and ride Spiderman! While you're there, ride it once for me too. It's definitely the best ride I've ever ridden. We took my Nephew(18) there last summer. After riding Spiderman, his response was, "Wow, that is most definitely the greatest ride ever."
