Candlelight Processional - can you hear it from Esplanade?

We arrive at the DLR on Dec 4th, which is when the CP is scheduled.
Although we are not planning to go into the parks (we don't expect to arrive at DL until about 6:00pm), we will be going to DTD and having dinner at Storytellers Cafe at the GCH.
If we happen to be strolling through the Esplanade around 8:00pm, will we be able to hear the choirs of the the CP? Do people do this? Just hang around the Esplanade to listen?
Crazy question, I know...

Probably not. It's not rebroadcast in the Esplanade. The Esplanade will have its own music playing.

However if they do like in the past there will be some people on top of the Train Station that you could see.
