Candlelight Processional 2008 Info Thread

Boy, do I hear you there! I only got 4 hours of sleep and I'm about to go back to bed for another hour before I have to take my dog to the vet and then go to work! I could really use about 10 more hours of sleep right now!

When my DH got up at 5:30 am to get dressed for work my youngest DS was still awake from last night. DS9 said he just couldn't sleep. As soon as I get off the phone with him, he and I are going to crawl into my bed and sleep for a few hours.

I over slept!

I rolled out of bed at 7:15am. I still haven't walked the dogs, I went potty and made the mad dash to the cell phone. I called on the (407) number, but all circuits were busy, so I tried on the toll free number and it went through. I know, bad Lindy.

I have been holding for 14 minutes now.

This isn't even the worst part of my day. I just read that George Carlin died. I could seriously cry right now, if I wasn't so focused on getting this done. I think I am in for a teary commute.

Nancyg56, If I were you I would call back right now and get another CM!

I did, I am on hold now "Spoonful of Sugar" I also called my DD and gave her all of my info in case I have to leave before I get through. I have an ADR in place already but I want reserved seating so I am going to suck up the wait. I had to wait 45 minutes when I called for my first set of ADR's, which had never happened to me before.

Well I finally got through and spoke to Serenity. If you get through to her she is great!! When I told her that we were on the Dlx DDP, she said "ok your good there, you will get an appetizer with that." She did say I would need a credit card to hold it and that we would be charged at the restaurant and receive our passes then. I didn't get the one that I wanted. I wanted Garden Grill for lunch for the 5:00 PM show on December 13th, and she said it wasn't available. I was able to get 5:45 PM for December 13th at Teppan Edo for the 8:15 PM show. I immediately canceld the one I had for 7:45 PM at Teppan Edo. Now I just have to wait for the narrator to be announced. While she had me on the phone she even double checked my ADR's to make sure I wasn't double booked, so that Disney wouldn't cancel the ones that are double booked.

Congratulations on getting booked! I'm sorry it wasn't for your first choice, but so glad you were able to get an ADR! It's always awesome to get a nice and helpful CM! Mine was very pleasant. . .not bubbly like the CM I booked with on my 180 day window (who I loved talking with), but she was very nice and helpful just the same. I am also waiting with anticipation to see who the narrator will be!

PS - I just noticed. . .we'll be in Epcot just a day apart! I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip! Although I've been to WDW several times with friends, this will be my family's very first trip to WDW together (my mom and dad's first visit to WDW). . .we're very excited!

I just booked my dining reservations for my first WDW trip ever! I was on hold for about 45 minutes and I got everything I wanted, including CRT on Christmas morning. I couldn't even sleep last night because I was so excited. I finally got out of bed at 3am (Pacific Time) to prepare for the phone call.

I was able to book the Candlelight processional for 12/24 at 5pm at the Garden Grill.

We are actually going to be in EPCOT on the 12th as well, but I didn't want to book the CP until the 13th. It will be something special to do on our last night there.

I hope your first trip with the parents is practically perfect in every way. We are going October 2009 with my DH's family. The only person that doesn't want to go is his brother. For the first time ever, I am planning two Disney trips with in less than 2 years of each other.
